Ramsey to Fulham?

Ramsey would suit serie A imo, he'd get that extra time on the ball. Btw fans have the right to cheers or boo anyone they want, we pay ridiculous ticket prizes plus food and drink while these guys get an absolute fortune, so when a player ain't pulling his weight then fans have the right to let them know how they feel!.

I'm talking abuse and booing.

half these people having a go at ramsey couldn't walk to the corner shop a year after they broke a leg....let alone play a full season of competitive football

these are also the same people that probably abused Song when wenger had to drag him off at half time against fulham to protect him from the abuse.

They now wet themselves everytime Song plays a through ball for VanPersie or Walcott to score!!

They will no doubt be moaning and groaning everytime Jack misplaces a pass during his first year back from serious injury!

Rev I agree with you for once

People are getting there expectations up about Jack for example. I do think he'll be a top player but not untill 2013-14, as he'll be similar Ramsey

Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey are very different cases. They had very different injuries.

Sorry, but there is no comparison.

Ramsey and Wilshere are completely different in the way they play the game.

Exactly

I'm not saying I want Wiltshire to have a bad season, god no, but if he did I would love to see how many would boo him and want him gone?

Also, Ramsey wasn't actually that bad, running he most, creating the 2nd most chances in our team.

So are Eduardo and Ramsey but you can see the similarites, no?

Also, there was a lot of expectation/pressure on Ramsey to fill the void of Fabregas' departure. Wilshere isn't going to have that burden IMO. Hopefully his return may take some of the pressure of Ramsey, and maybe he can become the player that he had the promise to become.

This post is just jammed full of speculation and guess work to suit your argument!

Wilshere has had no stick, Song divides opinion (I think he is oneof the best in the PL and has been for 2 years).

There's just no comparisons to make here.

Just accept that the stick Ramsey gets is because of his performances - not because certain fans WANT to have a go at him.

Reverend get over it, Ramsey was dreadful last season stop lying to yourself. I can't stand fans that paper over things when the truth stands out a mile!.

No. Very similar injuries. Leg breaks.

Still cant see the Wilshere comparison...

posted on 25/6/12

the comparison is not of the players but more the fans reactions when things don't go well for a player who has had a long term injury or off form.

Just look at the 5pur2 game where the fans were moaning at walcott in the first half then singing his name in the second.

the players don't pick themselves the manager picks them so it's time we layed off the likes of ramsey and give them time to develop.....or are we saying we know more than wenger?

There's nothing wrong with criticism but a lot of fans go further than that into abuse.

Yes but they play in similar positions. You cannot expect Wilshere to pick up from where he left off

And if he doesn't, will he get as much abuse as Ramsey? No.

Has anyone else noticed how Ramsey always plays well for Wales? Maybe it's because the welsh fans don't jump on his back with every tiny mistake?

Why not? Stress fractures are not the same as broken legs.

Wilshere will have had a full pre season and be fully fit (as fit as any of the other players coming back after the summer off). If anythign he will be fresher than the Euro 12 players.

There's just no comparison to make with Ramsey's and Wilshere's injuries.

Don't worry with some of our fans a couple of bad passes and they will be on his back demanding he be loaned out

If Wilshere has an absolute stinker next year he will get stick on forums.

As for Ramsey and Wales, he doesnt actually play THAT well for them (one of the better players in an awful bunch), and even if he did it would just go to show he doesnt have the right mentality for Arsenal. Dropping your performance because of what's on a football forum is not acceptable.

Wilshere suffered from a stress fracture. Something that he shouldn't have a problem to recover from. However Arsene and the medical team have been very careful, extra careful with him.

I am sure he could have played at the end of the season or the olympics. But Arsene would not allow it.

The fact that Arsene has played Ramsey the whole season suggests he has fully recovered from his injury. But he has lost acceleration because of his injury. At no time in the season did he have that burst of pace that labeled him the 'welsh Gerrard'. So if Arsene is willing to sell instead of loan suggests he is NEVER going to get that back.

Sometimes you have to accept that players are never going to be the same again. Just like Eduardo.
