I thought Kane was called the big red machine...but if I knew that, that would imply I had actually watched the wrestling at some point....

Edge retired because of an injury which if he continued to wrestle could of put him in a wheelchair. Why risk his health over this?

He said, why didn't Edge become a manager...

I know. By being a manager

I know. He also has an acting career which he wants to pursue. Also what if something goes wrong if he's a manager.

Its a big step going from world heavyweight champion to never being able to wrestle again. Don't blame him for not wanting to go into the management roll, his life had just been turned upside down. He will be back one day though

What about Kane?He should have been WWE champion more times and he should at least not be jobbing when he is always called a monster!

With regards to Edge, I don't think he was 'made' to anything as such but retired because of medical advise to do such. Having spent years in the industry and following a very pressuring schedule I figure he just decided to take the opportunity just to be Adam Copeland again and enjoy some time off.

Rest assured we haven't seen the last of him and as they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder so it will be one hell of a nice surprise if/when he comes back in a non-wrestling role.

Kane has been in the WWE/F for over 15 years, and as such is trusted to put over the young stars of the future. If they can't beat established wrestlers then in 4-5 years time we'll be left with a a main event scene of Ziggler. Swagger etc who have jobbed to guys who will be retired by then.

That's why Foley lost fairly to HHH at what was supposed to be the back end of his career, he later jobbed to Edge. Vader did the same at the beginning of the "Kane" character.

On a further note, this shows how far WWE have fallen in terms of booking matches that made both guys look strong. The Rock and HHH were both heel when Foley feuded with them but all three came out of those feuds looking incredibly strong, Rock went on to face Stone Cold at Wrestlemania and HHH faced Rock for about 5 PPVs in a row afterwards
