yip and they were all available for peanuts. Says something about their faith in their own ability if they dont believe a club will pay a few hundred thousand for a player worth millions.
Naismith really disappointed me in this regard. Two serious knee injuries
Good guy goian
I think Boca and Edu are next, keep expecting to hear that Wallace is off too. Odd how the loyalty seems to come from most of the foreign players rather than the homegrown fans.
Whit aboot Ness....we nurtered that barsteward and as soon as he was fit the first thing he did was walk oot the door. Hope he has another serious wan.

coop - That was the most ground Ness had covered for 2 seasons when he was running for the exit
Wee tossbag. He's one I definitely would have thought might have stayed for a season given the effort we put into him. Ah well, players come and go, never the end of the world but it would have been nice to keep a few more or at least get a few quid in for them.
Joe - That kind of loyalty doesn't exist in football anymore. Anywhere. Money talks nowadays and from the point of view you can't argue with the moves the majority of our players have made. Most of them seem to be landing 4 and 5 year deals at Premiership clubs ffs
Ness
the new Kevin Thomson
Naismith broke my heart
I can see Norwich getting relegated this season. Whittaker

Papa....the young ones, Ness, Mc Cabe etc could have stayed and risen in experence and value with the club. the others, Davies, Naismith etc could have stayed at least until they knew which we league we were going to play in. One thing for sure, they'll get some abuse if they ever poke thier noses back into Ibrox !
That will be a great setup considering it will have a midfield that doesn't include Edu and Jig behind them
Whittaker is a complete bombscare. Norwich to go down is a great shout
Ghod.....Thomson was sold, Ness sneaked out....big difference.
coop - I totally agree mate In an ideal world that's how it would have played out. Greed probably made up alot of players' minds whereas stupidity made up a few others.
Fleck > Coventry. Before he even knew where Rangers would be playing. Least we got money for that plonker tho
I'll be surprised if they put him at RB anyways. Almost as big a bombscare defensively as big Dan was for them!
Thompson is fragile but Ness is just made of glass!
Bags of ability as well the boy! Same with McCabe. Well worthwhile nurturing both of them for about 10 years eh?
meucoop
i meant they both have glass knees
Agents manipulate the players nowadays but I can only put myself in their shoes...playing for the club I love, earning 20k a week, £000,000s in the bank, ...why would I walk away and put myself in a position where I can never go and even see them play again ??! Greed and agents but at some point in their lives they will regret it !
Ghod....aye, true and I hope somebody smashes Ness's good wan !

Haha, some totally brutal comments about some of these lads, but I can see where you're coming from...
I don't think many of us would have hung around in a job you don't know will even exist in a month, when you're being offered more dough to bolt somewhere else tbh.
Loyalty as a fan is different to making a living
Ness and Naismith are the two that were worst though, after the injuries they went through, and I 100% agree about the patter of the good guys sticking around to see what happened first before leaving
