i am beginning to feel for rodgers and a ball hasn't even been kicked yet.
All he got last season was praise for developing a system which was one of the best in the league. Now he is taking a few elements from a successful system to apply to Liverpool and its a big fault - Ok 15m is a bit too much but he knows the player and obviously thinks he is off great benefit to the way he want to do thing's.
The guy is not going to get a fair crack at it from what i have heard from a number of Liverpool fans.
i agree, he is a top player and definitely will suit our style but no way should we be spending 15m on him he is worth 6-8m max. im sick of teams in the premier league ripping us off and us just going along with their crazy valuations.

Yeah he may currently not be worth £15m but if he is the player we need to make the team click then he could be worth much more than that to us
People asking why we are looking at player who wouldnt get into Man Utd, Many City, Chelsea, Arsenal's team? Because we are so far behind them!
___________
Didn't Arsenal make a bid for him anyway? And Utd fans wouldn't mind seeing him there.
Like u_u_c says, the price is steep though, and you've got to be especially cautious after last season I guess...

10 mil max, as stated above we must stop being treated like mugs with transfers
i started an article ......
yes i may have fobbed him off .............but its the price tag....shouldnt be 15 million.....we'd be mugged if we pay that
I thought they made a bit, but it was something insulting and stupid like £3m, a typical Arsenal bid.
Although when I try and think back I find it hard to differentiate between genuine bids and stupid twitter rumours.
Another club has made a bid for and that's apparently why we're in for him!
someone must have made a bid for him other than us since our ability to negotiate with Swansea over Allen was triggered by a clause in brendons gentelmans agreement allowing him to pursue Swansea players. hmm wonder if it was arsenal...
I think we might see a few players leaving soon. LFC need to make abit of money back to cover signings and I think the younger players such as Suso, Sterling ect can do just as well as the finge players we have now (Downing, Spearing)
Dont think there is such thing as a "Gentelmans agreement" in football or contract come to think of it
He will be a good player for you guys. 15 million to give your midfield some much needed shape is a small price to pay.
