Heard the English FA have told southampton not to pay that fee for Davis
wtf are they all about
Really is strange to see the distinct diffrence between some Bears who want the worst for the leaving players and some who wish them all the best, I cant imagine how I would feel if it were Celtic, sair yin either way to be fair as most of those guys were heroes to you, is there 2 distinct camps amongst your support on this?
DC, the English FA should keep their beaks out of that, if Southhapton are happy to pay it, let them
Piffle - For me, these guys aren't doing the dirty on us. Guys like McGregor have given us so much over the years and we couldn't have expected them to stay and play in the 3rd Division. They all took big pay cuts to get us through last season and I personally wish guys like him all the best.
But I also understand Zachs wants them all to suffer brutal injuries, and that's fair enough
There are grey areas however - I wish boys like McGregor all the best but I think people like Ness and McCabe are wee ratbags for leaving. They're done absolutely nothing and we've nurtured these guys through to where they are. They could have given us a season at least regardless where we're playing but they jumped ship for the money to places where they're likely to never become established (Ness to Stoke - He's made of glass ffs!) but I wouldn't wish harm on any of them I'm more of a lover than Zachsda though
McGregor to Turkey? Seriously, how long will that last? Miller and Boyd lasted barely any time. I don't think the lifestyle, culture or weather will suit him at all. However, I hope he does well and proves he's the quality we know he is.
No good wishes from me for any of them. All judases IMO.
FA gas said that any fee should be paid to SFA who will hold it til newco is accepted into league. It will be paid but not directly to newco.

Thinking about the Werder Bremen save, the Samaras penalty save and countless other match, tie and season defining moments from McGregor, I can't possibly wish ill on him and call the guy a Judas. He was/is a Gers hero.
But opinions are like Tims I suppose - There to be shot down

Our wage bill must be peanuts now.
Wage Bill Trophy Winners 2012-2015
The strange one for me was not the established stars leaving, they have their own finacial and international agenda, it was the young players, they could have been heroes for Rangers and played wasy more games than would normally have been reasonable to expect, they may well live to regret it from a playing perspective
I honestly thought 3 or 4 would leave in the way they did, I didn't see that many going for nothing, that is the bad point, does Southhampton offering cash for Davis, with his insistance perhaps change anyone's opinion of him?
PB - It's probably more like cashew nuts mate. Bit too pricey all things considered
Fleck I think will 100% regret how his career has panned out unless he does a Charlie Adam and takes 5 steps backwards to launch himself forward. Which he won't...
Piffle - If people thought that Davis insisted on waiving a signing on fee for the money to be given to Rangers, that would maybe change their mind. If it's just Southampton covering their erchies in case the courts rule in our favour if and when it gets there, then people will think no differently about the player I wouldn't imagine.
One of the ones I'm most gutted won't be there next season is Aluko. And I was dead against signing him, even when he offered to pay He's the most exciting thing I've seen at Ibrox since the hot bird 2 rows in front of me's thong was hanging out in season 04/05

"the hot birds thong" Papa I spend half my working day praying the young stuff in the admin team drop anything so they have to pick it up the other half on here laughing at the posts
Nothing better than a hot bird's drawers on show
Especially when the alternative to perving on that is watching the onfield action at Ibrox
Papa, I feel your pain! maybe because we can watch football from all 4 corners of the globe it makes our product seem a tad inferior, take away tribal rivarly there isn't a whole lot that I have enjoyed for quite a few years now
that said the perving has taken quite an upswing recently, H and R have started a fit looking bird policy on new starts it seems, Kudos
