Moses would be signed as a squad player.

Ramires is excellent as a RW.

Ramires needs to be moved centrally behind the attacking midfielders. Won't be effective on the wing for 90% of games next season

Ramires could play in the 2 SDS.

Agree with OP in that Ramires is good when he runs into space from deep - so as a winger, only when the team as a whole play deep and counter attack. Even at his appearances last season he was average except in the games we player deep in the CL. I don't see why he couldn't play in the 2.

He is a defensive winger.

Can Ramires play in the 'double pivot'?

He doesn't have the ability on the ball to play in the two.

Doesn't need to, he could play as ball winner in that 2

GD

I've banned that stupid saying....

So we would have 1 player that could retain possession in midfield? We would be playing with 10 players when we have the ball and 11 when we don't in that case.

I'll use Bayern as an example of the top of my head with Gustavo and Schweinsteiger with Kroos. We could easily replicate that with something similar using Ramires, Lampard and Oscar. Also lets not make out Ramires is bad at passing, he's not great at it, but he's capable. He'll on the whole be pretty useless on the right next season unless we plan to let most teams attack us

It wouldn't work. The best formation to play would be christmas tree

I agree he won't work very well on the right either, but if you want to play him thats where he would have to play in that formation.

He played the holding role against United and was fine.
Where we were over run in the middle.

Well that's what im saying, he could easily slot in the two with a bit of work

No I said he would have to play on the right in that formation. In the christmas tree, you would have Rami next to oscar in the 3, Hazard and Mata in front with Torres up front. It would meant that Rami and Oscar would both have options to run out wide or through the middle.

Yeah but he doesn't, he could also play in the 2 in a 4231, but i don't think we're going to agree on this

When Man Utd beat us 3-1 and we dominated.

Nope, never going to agree on this one

Romeu and Lampard should play the holding next season.
