Who was in defence for us?
We used a few different combo's. it went:
Jenkinson--Bartley---Verm---Gibbs
Jenkinson--Miquel----Verm---Gibbs
Eastmond--Miquel----Verm---Gibbs
Jenkinson was at fault for the goals.
We defended well in the second half, Miquel and Gibbs in particular were superb.
First half, Jenks and Verm were caught out of position a number of times.
Going forward, we did everything right but score.
we still pass it round the box for an hour with no end product
Chamakh and Afobe are more useless than a chocolate teapot.
Jenko
Did Ryo feature at all?
No. Not too fond of the old Japanese in China apparently.

PLASTIC.

Ron you are a pillar of the Ja606 society.
Too much football being talked about here.
Cheers Dave. I often feel my contribution to the website goes unrecognised, so it is nice to get the appreciation I deserve.
We actually played very well and were definitely the better side of the two. We created chances throughout but couldn't take them. Our passing, fluidity, chance creation was very good for a friendly but we were poor at our defending at times and our finishing.
Our best players were Gervinho, Miquel, Gibbs and Chamberlain.
Diaby was to blame for the first goal. He gave Arteta an awful pass, then failed to try and get the ball back, meaning Jenkinson had to come and press the ball. Also Bartley failed to come across and cover Jenkinson, which he should have.
Second goal, Jenkinson
I would like to see Yennaris get a chance today. He is still raw at RB, but has the pace and tenacity to do a job there. Think he would be a better option than Jenkinson, Eastmond and even Coquelin, who should be in CM.
