Wilshere is a special player though, he's not world class now but he's far from his peak... and it depends how how he recovers. Nobody acts like he's Messi but he has world class potential.

Stop being a Dubbed, saying he's 'Fabregas reincarnated' is practically the same as saying he's the 'New Fabregas'.

And when you've got players coming through the academy I don't think you can blame fans if they slightly overrate the player tbh.

Cazorla is a must. Can't see it happening though.

Nuri is a very good passer of the ball. He has superb vision and shooting ability, he's a set piece specialist and he does a lot of dirty work (like Arteta).

He's not very mobile though, he can be slow at times, but he's a top player.

Wilshere is a good player imo. Special player, he ain't. But he can become world class, of course.

What's impressive about him is his composure and simplicity with the ball at his feet.
He is also technically solid.
Those traits, plus him being English adds to his ability.

You see faceless Spanish, Brazilian, and Italian players abroad, his age, doing what he does.

Wilshere reminds me of Iniesta, he really does. They both have that deceptive extra gear of pace and can just glide past an opponent as if he wasn't there. Alot of our youth players get overrated but I don't think Wilshere's one.

agree though, someone was comparing him to Xavi a while ago but his style reminds me of Iniesta, not as good though of course before you get ready to unload Dubbed!

If we get Sahin and hope Cazorla move goes through I am . This will be the best Arsenal transfer period for long time.
