Think it would be very difficult to try and play good football with young kids in the Third Division. Although can't say I'm too happy with the signings of Black and Kyle but they'll do the job!
these players seem too good for div 3. Canny help but think that something is afoot and we will be back in spl B4 long.
Wouldn't think so higher. Wishful thinking. Even if you did, spl rejects ain't gonna beat hibs never mind challenge for a title
I wouldn't call Black, Shiels and Kyle spl rejects....good enough to win title? No....good to establish ourselves again? Aye
what age is Kyle? Doubt he would still cut it in 3/4 years,
Kyle is 29 with the body of a 50 yr old. If they weren't spl rejects why was no one trying to sign them. Not a dig, just a genuine thought
I see Beattie is still hanging on for notts county before committing

From what I've heard it's the other way round. He'd rather go to us.
And the rest of the country dos? Can't see it somehow
Spl rejects, released from there clubs, no one else wanted them. Reject
Plenty SPL sides would take the likes of Black. As for Kyle his fitness is the main concern.
Then why has he not signed blue?

Will give you that dos, lots of cost cutting across the board. Will give you black as a decent signing but I think it's close to being made up of a who's who of former spl teams
"Then why has he not signed blue?"

He's trying to get the best deal he can. That's the financial reality of things.
True blue, look I'm honestly not here for a slagging match, just a genuine chat. I just feel that there is quite a lot of former spl players signing. Not to mention injury prone ones

I hope it doesn't stifle the chances of our own youth players but I'm defo glad at the experience and, as much as it kills me, the calibre of player (for the 3rd) we've been lining up and bringing in.
Kevin Kyle should only ever be signed on a pay as you play, by anyone, as he's far too injury prone.
The experience of these boys will be invaluable to the young squad but we must bleed as many of our own boys as we can at the same time.
Really looking forward to Tuesday, as ludicrous as that might have seemed this time last season when it was CL Quals we were prepping for

Papa
The CL quals are always frustrating for Rangers,as seen last year again,so we can take it easier against East Fife etc.................famous last words.

Shiels was in the running for SPL player of the year last season, hardly a reject. Think he's a really good we player myself.
Dos think our young guys are definitley good enough for the Third Division. No doubt in my mind. When you look at the sides our failed youngsters have ended up at over the years we should pump most sides at home with the kids.
