Feel stupid typing this, but the WUMs were one of the best things about 606. If you just want to talk about football there are a million sites you can go to. 606 offered something different. 606 offered wummery (in fact I think it invented wummery!).

Hopefully some of the best will make their way over here (some have already).

Don't worry I was feeling equally stupid but it does seem to be missing something.

606 is still running so maybe they are all waiting till 'D' day before migrating over here..

That's my thinking too. I wouldn't want the site to be all WUMs, but a mix of wummery, banter and serious debate is pretty much perfect for me. Some of the stuff I've seen on 606 has had me literally crying with laughter.

This place really is just like 606, I had a look on the Liverpool board and found you lot instead.

WUMming is fine when it's good natured and humorous- as in real life- unfortunately some on here are really vitriolic and abusive and try and hide behind the term WUM to put across their hatred.

This wum phenomenon, I never really understood it because two thirds of the stuff written and accredited to 'wums' didn't really do anything to wind anyone up. Never been referred to as a wum and would disagree if I was. I have always considered it banter, like I have at work. Never once had to be removed from the canteen for criticising Utd either.

Think I've seen Knotty and a couple of others but I'm not sure- I'm running this and the beeb simultaneously at times and at my age it's hard to remember where I am never mind anyone else.

You need the button that says Create JA606. It's in the top left, underneath JA606 Home and My JA606. You don't need to be on your member page, it's always there. Should be anyway.
