Can't see Hendo in there but Shelvey has Green on
Damn it! Sorry i'll correct it now but the point still stands.
Green bibs looks the likely team and yes Shelvey is in green and deserves a start after playing so well and not starting the away tie.
Hendo needs the game time, i hope thats the line-up, although Suarez may be rested. Hes not had a break since joining us has he? Copa America/Olympics etc.
And Rodgers said: 'Daniel is a top player and you do not want to lose your best players.
He has been here seven years. He loves the club and its supporters. But every player has his price and we will see where it goes.'

Rodgers more or less confirmed this morning that he's looking to sell Agger. Just because he managed a smile at training doesn't mean a thing.

Yep that is a strong line up, I imagine a lot of the fringe players to get time in the Sami game so this is a very possible line up.
Worrying statement from BR - "Daniel is a top player and you do not want to lose your best players. He has been here seven years. He loves the club and its supporters. But every player has his price and we will see where it goes."
------
Doesn't sound too encouraging from BR.

Here we go again, does this sound like he's trying to sell him?
"Daniel is one of the leading players in European football at centre-half. Is he a player I want to lose? No he's not. But like any club, if an offer comes in that is in the best interests of the club, of course you have to look at it.
"From a football perspective, do I want to lose Daniel Agger? Not really. He can be a really pivotal player for me, he understands how I want to work. But I am a realist. And the reality is that if a club comes in with a massive bid then the club may have to look at it. You can never say never."
It's the biggest indication of the line up for me.
Agger looks happy and let's have confidence in him.
Luis does not want a rest and if you read his interviews he's ready. He never wants to 'rest'.
In 30 hours we'll know.
Bobby.
Yes, it does sound like he's trying to sell him.
He is not trying to sell him.
As far as Agger is concerned a quick 'not for sale' comment would suffice. Roy Hodgson was roundly lambasted by Liverpool fans for saying the same sort of comments regarding Torres.
There is pressure on BR to sell before he buys IMO.
shortlightandugly, are you one of these people that think no means yes?
As far as Agger is concerned a quick 'not for sale' comment would suffice.
-------
And then if City come in with a massive offer and he's sold he looks like a right idiot doesn't he.
Bob.
No. I think know means no. And anything else means yes.
It's almost word for word what he said about Carroll too.
What exactly did he say about Carroll?

So now your saying he could be sold. I though you said no means no? So why not just say he's not for sale and leave it at that?
If City come in with a massive offer and Agger says he wants to leave most fans would understand. Business behind closed door and all that.

Well of course he could be sold, I said Brendan didn't want him sold, I also supplied quotes from Brendan saying he didn't want him sold. I'm not sure if I can be any clearer than that.
Slowly.
He DOES NOT want to sell him
IF a massive offer comes in we can reject it, IF Agger wants to stay
IF HE WANTS to LEAVE, we get the MOST money available.
Simple.
He does not WANT to sell him.
Idiot.

Agger doesn't want to leave, there's quote from Brendan saying that too.
The only way Agger will leave is if a massive offer comes in which is too good to turn down, that decision will be down to the board, not Brendan.
It sounds to me that Rodgers is saying Agger has a price, and if anyone matches that price, he could leave, if they don't, he won't. We don't know whether that price is a deliberately prohibitive £30m, a fair £20-25m, or a cheap £15m.
That is not the same as 'I am trying to sell Daniel Agger'.
None of us know, so stop pretending that we do.
