we were reasonably boring the season of the 15 point deduction when dennis wise was in charge and we won the first 8. That team was effective - maybe this will be a similar scenario
It will be if we get some presence up front.
People forget that this team have not played a single competitive game together, pre season is no way to judge them as they are also lacking match fitness.
We have a team of good pro`s. The addition of Diouf will add a touch of class, and be yet another big presence for opposing teams to deal with.
Ross has 20 goals in him, Becchio has 20 goals in him if he pulls his finger out, Varney has 10 goals in him Norris has 7 or 8, Austin has around 10, between them our defence has 10 or so.
When we add Diouf, Liam Lawrence and hopefully Boyd then more goals will come.
also don't forget, warnock likes to miss out midfield for a brilliant 40-70yard hollywood pass from defence to attack. so he only needs a solid midfield to win the ball back against teams who get the ball down and play the passing game...
dont want diouf, not only is he a nasty piece of work, but will also spend most of the season suspended
Yeah not knocking the current squad, happy wit it, but we need further signings.
NW LUFC, does he have a history of bookings and sending offs?
He's the modern day Lineker!
it is not great although prob wont lead to missing 'half the season', plus racist slurs and spitting at opponents, going whole seasons without scoring...
You think he will do these things??
wherever he has been, he has caused some kind of trouble/controversy or just been rubbish...
