who needs RvP?

posted on 11/8/12

He is begging them to let him do it though. He would rather go off fighting in wars than stay at Arsenal.

posted on 11/8/12

He is better than both bendtner and chamakh and should be given a chance at least. As a 3rd/4th choice striker i think he would be a good squad player.

Bendtner is far better than Park.

Pipe down Lord....

Bendtner is cak otherwise he would have turned up years ago...

Instead he went round saying he was as good as RVP and messi yet never did anything worth talking about other than getting his pants out at the euro's

Hans, you do realise Bendtner is younger than Park. But I suppose Park has achieved so much more than Bendtner. For starters he has 2 world cup goals (lets ignore the fact one was against his own team), he got relegated with Monaco and spent a season as back up to Chamakh, who in turn was barely used by Arsenal.

Yeap all the facts are there to show Park is way better than Bendtner.

Park better than Bendtner?!

Good one.

I think bendtner is better than park when he wants to be but that is also where the problem is...

His ego is writing cheques his body cant cash - (LOL)

He actually believes he's better than RVP & the rest of the squad. He thinks that he should be playing every game, have the ball passed only to his feet and only when he is in a goalscoring position.

If he didnt walk round this ego and became a TEAM PLAYER and worked for his place rather than moaning about not being played everyone would benefit...

So would you prefer a player that maybe isnt as good but gives 110% every game or a player that is better but will only give 50% for most of the time then play for 100% for that 1 game in ten....

Just look at his stats for his loan spell....
32 games in total for 9 goals mixture of cup and PL oh and 2 smashed up cars and a speeding fine....

Great player.....

Who said Park gives 110% every game though? He has in the main looked lost when he has played for Arsenal, and has hardly made up for it by chasing around and closing down defenders etc.

There is a reason Park barely played last season, and Wenger saw a lot more of him than you and I.

Bendtner scored 8 in 28 for Sunderland in the league. Only 19 players scored more, and Sunderland were not exactly a free flowing attacking unit.

So in answer to your question, I would much rather have Bendtner.

People get far too carried away with the fact that Park scored a goal in what was one of his only run-outs against Bolton in the CC.

Yes it was a sweet finish, but apart from that he was anonymous for large parts of the game.

Did he even play against City in the following round? I honestly can't remember.

Bendtner is a frustrating player, because the talent is clearly there, just the mentality is missing.

Lex, most people didn't see the Bolton game thus base their whole opinion on Park on that goal. Don't go shattering illusions !

Yep cant deny what you have said but for someone who claims to be one of the best in the world that has been in the PL for the best part of 7/8 years wouldnt you expect more?

Also if he was that great why doesnt anyone want to buy him?

Now with Park hes had 6 games for us 2 of those in the reserve team so has he really had a chance to prove himself?

No is the answer...

Also im fairly sure if you brought any player in from accross the world it will take them time to adapt to the PL as it is such a physical and fast league and is 6 games with 2 of those being in the reserves enough?

Once again No...

Finally im fairly sure bendtner is on about 40/50k a week where as park isnt.

So like i said do you want to throw more good money down the drain on Bendtner or throw less money at a player that might (yes only might as he needs to be given a chance before we can really pass judgement) do the same job for less money?

Shame about bendtner but his time has come IMO and although park hasnt had a great start i wont write him off till i see him get given a few more games then if he's still rubbish then get rid, but to judge a player who is new to the PL after 6 games is just re-tarded.

You are judging Bendtner on what he allegedly said, and Park on the lack of games he has played.

Park obviously hasn't impressed in training or he would have appeared more often, he was quite often not even in the squad when his only competition as back up striker was Chamakh.

I would rather judge Bendtner on the games he has played and Park on why he has played so few.

I know who i would rather have coming on v AC Milan at 3-4.

LOL!!!! Allegedly!!!!

Bendtner can be great and yes he could be great against AC milan at 3-4 but if its the bendtner which cant be bothered id prefer to see Arsene get his boots on than let that egotistical prat on the pitch.

Yes he hasnt been picked which is always a worry but once again he's been our country how long?

Park might turn out to be a dud but Bendtner already is a dud who is over paid and not as good as he thinks he is...

Read and laugh!!!

Looked at the link, and this is what I found Bendtner had said...

“It's easy to talk. You must also prove it. And so I say no more than what I know will happen," he said.

”If I look honestly at myself, I see that I do not have a poor technique, not a bad shot and not a bad positional ability than many others around."

I don't think there is anything wrong with any of that, and certainly not over egotistical.

Which link did you read?

Most of the links from google were people laughing at his blindness.....

posted on 11/8/12

3rd one down.

And that was the point of "allegedly". Most of the links were peoples interpretation of what Bendtner had said, rather than fact.

ok you need help.....

Just keep looking and you;ll start to find the quotes.

right now im looking for the interview where he states it in plain english....

posted on 11/8/12

He has never stated he is the best player in the world.
Articles containing paraphrased segments of his interviews may suggest that, but you have to understand journalism and the fact that people twist things to make a point.

posted on 11/8/12

Jesus wept, when will people stop all this 'but Park hasn't been given a chance' bullshite?

Does he not get given a chance every single fecking time he pulls on a training vest?

I'm guessing yes is the answer all you Park apologist are furiously shutting your eyes and covering your ears to.

"Park might turn out to be a dud"? No, Park IS a dud.

Wakey wakey.
