He had a feud with Cena as a face?
He had one big PPV match against him as a face yeah, i remember LOVING WWE's video package for it. But i recall the build up being this tired clash of ego rubbish.

Still chasing that second theme
Damn, must have missed it.
Always wanted to see HHH vs Cena
But i recall the build up being this tired clash of ego rubbish.

thats wrestling...
That's bad writing my friend. Ego is always flooting in the background in most activities where groups of people compete against each other, especially groups of men. To have it as the central motivation in 99% of cases (and in HHH's case, that appears to be accurate these days), portrays said individual as being boring and depthless.
Run through each of HHH's big feuds/matches ...... notice the pivetal promo in which the match gets confirmed always involves HHH saying something along the lines of 'you're a coward', 'you're scared', 'you're nothing', blah blah....... and the responding wrestler just trips the trap every bloody time. Against Taker, HHH was the one who got baited but in pretty much the same childish fashion.
If that was the only way you knew how to get what you wanted in life, you'd be left disappointed alot. It's lazy writing.
I like HHH. Still one of the better heels in the last 15years
His feud when he returned from his knee injury to challenge Jericho for the undisputed title is still one of my favs...even though it was a bit predictable
Predictability isn't always bad. Sometimes you just look forward to the heel getting their just desserts, in that feud you referenced the following night when Stephanie got fired was memorable for that reason.
I've always had a soft spot for his feud with Batista, aswell as the whole disillusion of evolution angle. And they say HHH doesn't put people over
Yeah
He also did it for Orton too, making him the youngest champion. Orton still holds that record huh?
Evolution was something special as well. Had everything. Flair from Flair, HHH as the general and Batista has this powerhouse recking machine and Orton has the golden boy in the making
He does still hold the record. Still one of my favourite wrestling moments that
The HHH-Orton relationship is very rare in wrestling these days. Where one wrestlers mentality is so visably shaped by the others actions, and we got to see all of it on-screen.
It's obvious there a 2 or ppl who are intimidated by your depth. The 1 stars are an obvious expression of inferiority complex. 5 from me psych.
haha, don't think it's that. One just disagrees with me alot, thinks i'm abit opinionated (which i am), the other just doesn't like me
Nothing wrong with being opinionated.
Its definitely bad writing Psychologist!
