Brilliant win for Konta!!!!!
5-1 down comes back to win 7-5 against a girl 150 places higher in rankings.
Her first Grand Slam win, great news for British tennis.
Jonty,
how would you define British tennis?
What IS British tennis?
Everyone who plays tennis in Britain.
From the kids I coach through to the 82 year old holocaust survivor who played with us on Sundays until recently.

Well done and thanks Jonty for keeping a tab on her progress
Maksi, Robson just beat Clijsters
I just got in from yet another very tough day in my truck, this time driving round various Printing places and moving tonns upon tonns of paper/adverts around and have just seen that result Jonty and am chuffed to rocks for Laura.
Clearly her opponent is now finished and I wish them both well in their respective futures, Lauras of course on the tennis courts.
Repeat, chuffed to rocks for her.
