The only bit I think we lose on is not having enough proven Premier League strikers; it does put a lot of pressure on Giroud and Podolski to fire.

The rest of the squad is much stronger.

It's all about who spends the most money with "transfer experts".

That's right IOAG, let it all out. Or don't. I couldn't care less.

Why do pundits insist that the departure of Song is a bad thing for us? Are they stuck in the same "oh well he got 11 assists last season" mentality?

The guy is poor and his deparature has made us better.

It's the footballing equivalent of creationism. They don't believe that teams can evolve.

Song will do well at Barca, as will RvP at Utd. I think it's good that we don't have many long serving first teamers now. Why would you want to continue with players that have a bottling mentality. We now have players that have won things in different countries.

I bet Wenger actually uses the term 'mental strength' far less often this season because our team no longer consists of emotional wrecks.

Certainly worked a treat for those two.

Robbing, why have you picked out two players which we were trying to get rid of?

They have won many trophies at other clubs and have a winning mentality as a result.

It's common knowledge that Graeme Bailey is a pseudonym for Guillem Balague.
