The same brainless fans who sucked off jose while we were winning and playing badly are the same ones who have been sucking off Conte. Only after the results caught up with Jose did they start to want him out, I suspect it will be the same again now

Got the second most premier league points since January , scoring the most goals.

Both are counter attacking. One plays direct and one has particular rhymed off patterns for playing out quickly. But ultimately both are pragmatic in style.

FWIW I have always liked Conte.

Yeah fair enough. But there are similarities. Jose is a win at any cost manager. At least as we saw at the end of last season when Contes patterns pan out, it can be easy on the eye

Oh sorry what are you the football oracle

Last season when we had that run where we scored 4/5 pretty regularly was the best we've played since peak Poch.

Think we've not hit the same levels this season, but picking up plenty of points and when it occasionally clicks like saints or Leicester second half we are lethal.

Conte loves a fluid and quick counter. Working it from the back and hit the forwards quick into space. I don't think he loves it otherwise he would set the team up to press and win the ball back at every opportunity.

I don't think Conte's football is that easy on the eye tbf Doesnt rely on sitting in your own box and praying you dont concede though

I’m sorry but there are parallels between Jose and Conte. They are both cautious, defensive coaches in a braver, progressive age. Jose is definitely more direct but their instincts unquestionable begin by not losing rather than winning. For that reason it’s fair game to compare them both.

Whatever you feel about Conte, is it his fault that Son is underperforming by a large margin this season after his best ever season? You can blame him for continuing to start him but not for a world class player not playing like one.

Thats how he plays when the game is tied, but you can see the instruction when we are a goal, especiall two, up is to just hold onto the ball to kill the game.

Difference is that Jose was deemed past it while Conte is deemed still world class and also got us top 4 to help us keep the faith in him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So what the general consensus believes determines whether you have faith in him or not? I base my faith on what i see: long term performances on the pitch.

The run at the end of last season was scintillating stuff imo. That’s why football is subjective though granted it has been pretty stagnant this season albeit picking up points.

Well there is no general consensus for 'believing' he got top 4....he actually did it, and that was a good achievement and something Jose couldn't do when he was in a similar situation himself. There's no arguing with that.
