Solanke very invisible second half
Solanke was open, Udogie chooses to shoot with his weak foot instead

When you're 2-0 up you can afford strikers to be quiet but not defenders to not defend.
Udogie tried his best to give away a pen there and round off his half from hell

We don’t really use him correctly. He hardly looked for when we play the ball about. Why we don’t use him as a target man to play off now and then. Mix it up.

Wasn't Udogie to be fair to him
What gets me is that the line after this will be “we need to be better next time” which they say every single time and never ever learn. The truth is that at truly big clubs defeats of this nature just aren’t allowed. There’s a culture of allowance at Spurs as if they’re permitted to feck things up every few weeks. It’s at the very core of the club.

Spot on
They'll all trot out the standard soundbites but nothing will change.
Great 1st half. One of the worst second halfs
in a while.
Just so unprofessional …. Nothing else to say
Soon as they went into low block and our heads of gone we look like we did at start of the season. Toothless
How can a professional manager with this standard of players at his disposal allow a game to just be given away away and do nothing to stop it?
The ability of Brighton to switch to a low block to protect what they have is a feckin stain on Ange’s limited tactical ability.

Shouldn't even have to be saying that , these feckers should have been professional enough to have killed this game early 2nd half

I thought exactly the he same. Ange changes absolutely nothing. Down to 9 men, same, 2 up, same. Trouble is energy levels drop, the press drops off. No team can keep it going for 90 mins, just not possible. You need to take breaks in games, sit off, keep possession.
Most importantly for us out full backs need to stay at home sometimes.
With this manager, we will be 7th to 5th. That is a certain level of success. If we want better, there is no point carrying on like this as there will be about 5 games like this every season.
It would take a brave Chairman to make a change now, we don't have one, but this all just a little embarrassing.
