Shambolic. We can't keep saying about last minute equalisers against teams worse than us.
Frank needs to start showing something here.
Id also saying, Kudus is overrated.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think the bigger problem is Xavi. We are going to have to be very patient with him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What’s your gut telling you though? Normally when we’re told to be patient you’re talking Lamela, Soldado, Ndombele, GLC and none of them, with the exception of Lamela at times, came good. I don’t want to call it yet but my gut is telling me something I really don’t want to hear. Same for Tel and Odobert.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My gut is telling me he is too lightweight for the prem. He is going to have to work really hard. But we have kind of been here before with someone like Modric.
Not saying he is in his class but way too early to write off. Maybe after Xmas is the time to judge. He is going to get plenty of games between now and then.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, I’m clinging to Bergvall’s form at the start compared to the end of the year. Think Xavi needs more arrogance. Just demand the ball.
On a lighter note, Gray looked better again tonight. He’s actually quite useful further up the pitch.

Let's not forget we spent £40m on a forward who can't even get in the CL squad, who is worse than Odobert, BJ and Rich.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why even bring it up?

Because it's relevant to how much we have seemingly wasted.

It's got nothing to do with tonight though is it?

You can see something in xavi for sure, he's not as predictable as a lot of our players but needs to be alongside players of a similar nature. Id like to see him and bergvall start with palinhia breaking up behind them.
What we do on the left I just don't know... We don't seem to have a good option there at all.
Johnson and Richy are disgraceful footballers. Odobert only gets a slight pass on age.
Look at the players that have been bought across Europe for those prices and look what we ended up with.
Spence is infuriating.. looks top drawer one game, league one the next. Too much arrogance in this team it seems.

But Xavi Simons I have watched in other games and I think he is far too weak a footballer to play in the premiership, in any position..
posted 5 days, 18 hours ago
Xavi literally didn’t seem up for it, that was the issue for me - he would collect the ball and simply pass back to VDV. He made one run and cross at the end, but apart from that he did nothing. I didn’t see any creativity. Kudus is worlds apart - yes doesn’t always have end product but he always makes things happen

For me it’s that lack of desire to take responsibility. Look forward, not back. Take your man on. Get a shot off. Do something the others can’t do. That’s why you’re there. He needs to be braver and realise how technically good he can be.

For me it’s that lack of desire to take responsibility. Look forward, not back. Take your man on. Get a shot off. Do something the others can’t do. That’s why you’re there. He needs to be braver and realise how technically good he can be.

Simons will be class I have no doubt.
Left wing is a big problem and we really need Solanke and Muani to come back asap to give us options up top.

What gives you the confidence he’ll come good other than Twitter hype? I just think some fans just fall for the hype more the others. I’ve never seen much from him to convince me, both for Holland and for Leipzig. I hadn’t seen much, but from the little I’d seen, I’m not sure there’s all that much there.

I've the seen twitter hype. After the Brighton game all the Spurs agg accounts where creaming their pants. It was pure delusion.

There was that one bit when his feet gave way and lost possession on the edge of their box, which set up the attack which lead to their second goal.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kudus 0 goals and 3 assists so far this season.. for supposedly one of our best players, id want a tad more
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He is the only player who can hold the ball up and he drives us up the pitch also. He is seriously underrated, we would not have been pinned back in that first half as much as we were with him starting tonight - you can give him the ball and he will drag you up.
Richy looked like a pub player tonight, scandalous performance, Mr invisible

Maybe I saw a different game to everyone on this forum as I thought he changed the game when he came on.
He was the only who got on the ball in the middle of the park and had some composure.
The guy will be class, I don’t really get on twitter I just watch all the spurs games.

Wow. That must be a desperation to want him to succeed. So much so that you’re not seeing the shiiit stuff everyone else is. It’s less about being calamitous and more about not just taking responsibility. He didn’t do any more than Odobert tonight.
