Maybe the fact he’s not picked our strongest line up and we haven’t won the fa cup for nearly 30 fracking years

FFS - can the lot of you moaners just look forward to the game and save the handbags for after the match.

Haven't even kicked off yet and talks as if we've already lost.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Calm down, it`s a football forum, where supporters make their views known. Good or bad. Supporters are entitled to ask why the manager is not picking the strongest available team in a cup semi-final.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Besides Vorm for Lloris this is the exact same team that won us the game 2-0 last time we played United.

No way a good time to drop Lloris

Lads Aldy is on the bench which shows he is on his back to contention, he's been out of the team for a long time barring our last match. We know he was missing from squads altogether before this so its a positive step.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry mate but that's bollox. He's fit and available, he's better than Sanchez, he should be starting - both he and Poch should have enough about them to put contractual matters to one side for the good of the club in a game like this. All this shows is Poch saying 'he's out of here, I'll stick him on the bench and only play him if I absolutely have to'. It's poor form all round.

Also, I don't give a fack about loyalty to Vorm - as no2 he should know his job is to provide cover, which he has in this comp, but when the biggest games come round he's back on the bench. I'm sorry but there can be no room for sentiment, all decisions have to be taken for the greater good so unless Hugo is injured or ill, this is a poor decision.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Further to that, if it's normal for Poch to be cautious when bringing players back then why the hell did Kane come on in the Chelsea game. It's nonsense! There's two players that have the occasional ricket in our squad, one is Aurier (a lot), the other is Sanchez. I'm not saying he's not been great but we've got a much, much better defender on the bench who looked like he owned the Brighton game.

Don't get me started on Vorm. What a joke! I can see another Son at RB moment coming today. All falls on Poch.

Because without Kane we've got Llorente.. or have to play Son up front. Neither of which is good.

Without Toby. Sanchez and Verts went unbeaten together for a good 3+ months

There will be at least one moment today where Sanchez looks uncertain and United will break. Never happens with Toby. My point isn't about Sanchez being bad, it's about Toby being better... and available.

I understand people having opinions but it's the end of the world mentality.

But Vorm aside, we beat them with this team. How can it be Poch's fault then if the players dont turn up or United have a blinder.

Lloris has been prone to mistakes recently so you can see why Vorm got the opportunity.

Toby has been out injured and Sanchez/ Verts have been brilliant.

Aurier is prone to a penalty and recklessness.

It's a good line up. Lets see how the game develops. Strong bench to rely on.

The problem I'm trying to get across is that when you change the goalkeeper, you disrupt the entire back line. So that's five players affected, not one. Like one of the previous posters said, Vorm knows he's number two so forget about loyalty just because he's played all of the rounds before, put your best man between the sticks. He's not dropped him. If he had it would have been for the Brighton game.

If we lose and it's down to uncertainty in the defence or a Vorm howler, I'm assuming you'll all be lenient and reflective on here later?

The deep hatred I have for Mourinho is unreal. I've never not liked a manager as much as him.

Reading poch’s comments from this article.

Extemely disappointing once again that he keeps reaffirming how much he doesn’t care about this trophy.

Also hes a hypocrite - he says only winning the prem/CL will change the club but as part of that argument he used Leicester winning the league as an example even though they have not “changed” since winning

I said in another thread that I want Lloris to start as he's the better keeper. But from Poch's perspective I can see why he went for Vorm.

I remember the handbags before one FA Cup match because Vorm played and he was superb.
