I think the belief collapsed with the loss of the CL. They must have felt they'd never get that chance again. Both the players and manager have taken their eyes off the ball and have made mistakes that have cost us so far this season as a result.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well it would have been nice for the players to show up in the final.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Liverpool players didnt either only luckily for them we gave away a penalty after 20 seconds
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Charity hotspur at its finest.

Have a pen a minute in and we won’t play for the rest of the game

That was it. It was the Battle of the Bottlers, and we bottled it more.

I wonder who our overrated chairman will bring in next.

Bottomless pit? Everton and Leicester spend more than us.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Thats you solution to everything is spend, yes Everton outspent us and look awful and Leicester only spent AFTER losing their top defender.

Excuses excuses excuses, did Newcastle outspend us? Do Newcastle have better players than us?

The answer to both questions is NO but they still managed to beat us. Money is not always the answer and we have enough decent players who cost enough money for us not to give away 7 goals at home full stop.

If someone comes i want Mourinho. Absolutely loathed the guy but if its not Pochettino then im tired of trying to play good football to no avail.

You're so simple minded. Do you think maybe there is a reason why title winners tend to be clubs that have spent the most? Or is that all a fluke.

Or maybe City would have won the same amount if Pep wasnt spending £50m each position. Nobody is asking for a bottomless pit. We wanted the club to buy just 2 or 3 quality players at its peak.

Me simple minded so because we dont win the league we need reinvestment and without that reinvestment we can blame the chairman for Bayern putting 7 goals past us at the lane really??

I'd rather have Allegri than Mourinho. Jose should be an absolute last resort.

Apparently Allegri was at the ground today. Someone saw him legging up the high road with a bald man chasing him

Because we don't win the league we need investment? Well obviously that's faaacking right isn't it - tonight's lose is a build up of many things over the last year. Its not about tonight's result only that im blaming chairman. Jeez.

Dont see the issue with Mourinho tbh. He'd certainly stamp some authority straight up and win something. Won the btec treble with a shat Man U side.

Allegri I would also welcome.

But cant see either joining if they thought too much work was needed to win silverware quickly.

Given the meltdown in the clubhouse... what fool would be idiot enough to take the manger's job right now.... especially having to deal with Levy into the bargain?

Allegri has more class than Mourinho and you know things won't necessarily go tiits up after 2 seasons under him.

Things are always inevitably going to go tiits up. As they have done with Redknapp, AVB and Poch. Couldnt carry if Mourinho is toxic as long as he gets some wins/ trophies.

This club isnt going anywhere "organically" any time soon.

Spurs would have no problem attracting a manager Ted, they are still a huge draw.

If we want a quick trophy while we soon go tiits up then perhaps we should just get Ramos back.
