Top managers look for a way round injuries etc, look, any team losing Kane, Son and Sissoko would find it tough but Jose with his pragmatic ways chooses to stick with his "system"
Good luck tonight

Pal
Good management reduces the over playing of players to increase their chances of injuries as well. Really is strange what Jose has been doing, youd think he'd know what hes doing.

I am prepared to give Mourinho next season if he's backed right, but anything resembling a mediocre start and he should get the boot.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I was but is he signing players to carry on this dated, ineffective style?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If it gets us results next season then so be it. If it doesn't then he can leave because shiiit football and lack of wins isn't going to be tolerated.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
point is that I cant see where wins are coming from with these tactics and we both know he wont get what he needs in the summer, and he could even go after his favourite players (matic and fellaini) and we know how that will go. Yes injuries are a problem but we were bad without them as well and losing the big games and the points we got were fortunate.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I guess when we get Kane back we might see whether he can turn the form around with a genuine front man. To be fair we were on a 3 game winning run before Son got injured, even if the performances were rubbish. Both the performances and results have to improve by next season.
Mourinho walked out of the interview on the stream I have, very prickly
Strangely what made Jose so successful was his determination to do things his way, and not change much, conversely its now hurting you imo, he did similar with Utd and its not all that great to watch either for the fans if honest?

Levy won't back him with much in the summer, surely even he doesn't see Jose as a long term answer to our problems
Obviously his goal is to ruin another team
At least at united he could play an effective way and spunk money up the wall because of the size and nature of their club and still win trophies.
Spurs loser club who have history of playing an attractive way with talented players regardless of results, have brought in a polar opposite manager. Winning past, dated tactics, negative, hates talented players. Was always a danger it would go toxic as soon as it could do now with the complete mismatch of the appointment.
Bet he falls out with Levy very soon
I`d love to know what yarns Levy has spun Mourinho about ambition
Burnley got 4 centre forwards, club like Spurs none
So just watched MK lose so here’s to another defeat

The luck run out and Jose went completely cuuuntmode to make a statement about being unlucky with injuries, having an unbalanced squad etc.
He said in the week spurs need to balance the squad. So he plays 5 CBs today to emphasis this as a statement. Extremely worrying to think maybe he isnt looking at signing defenders as a priority.
Parrott is a front man, young yes, but weve seen other clubs throw youngsters his age in early to success. Spurs have nothing to lose and have no sensible alternative.

Billy, I'm not sure he has, Spurs was the biggest job avaliable and I read somewhere that Jose wanted to stay in England, got a feeling it might be his last job in the EPL unless he turns it around?
