The question that has to be asked is would Tuchel, Klopp, Pep, Rodgers, even Ole and Moyes, get more out a team including Kane, Son, Bale, Lo Celso, Ndombele, Reguilon, Lloris, Moura, Lamela, etc.

I think the answer to that is yes. Mourinho has had plenty of time to put his stamp on the team and has been allowed far more investment than Poch. We arguably have our strongest and deepest squad ever right now.

The players are key, but 9 times out of 10 the manager is crucial and sets the tone. In too many games, Jose has set us up to defend or sit back and it's cost us. The Europa League exit was woeful. We've lost recently to City, Liverpool, Arsenal, West Ham and now it would seem United. That's not good enough, to go from being competitive in those matches to very much not.

The answer is a resounding yes.

I look at this United team and if I did a combined 11, I would only take Fernandes, Maguire and AWB.

We would have had CL qualification wrapped up by with a decent coach.

Jose is destroying the club

There is no way Levy is sanctioning Kane's sale. He's the most important player at the club and will have a lot of say and soft power. In a choice between keeping Jose and potentially losing Kane, Jose goes every time, even if it costs.

Problem is, Son and Kane are too professional and decent to kick up a stink and Mourinho's on a ludicrous contract that we'll cost a bomb to pay off. For a canny operator, Levy got that one very wrong.

They have looked a better "team" than us all game with lesser players

He will destroy it even more if still here next season

I think we will lose at least one of Kane and Son in the summer.

Forget top 4, top 6 all but gone now with the teams above us on form.
