we did ok last week...it wasnt fluent or great to watch.. ipswich came off the back of a hiding and it was clear they had been given the hard word..

we could/should have won it so given loads of previous away games where we accepted a point long before the end it was much better..

win at home, try and win away , will do for me for now..

im still getting over getting 8 million for rhodes...had to have a holiday to recover.. best bit of business we have ever done..

38, everyone saying we played really well last wk your the only one who saying it was just ok, so to speak

am deflated now.....

we did ok against an ipswich team off the back of a hiding..they took 45 minutes to get over treating the ball like a leper..
we made our usual mistakes and gave them something to bite on and they did..in the end could have gone either way but probably more to us..
its an away game we tried to win, it ended in a draw, we will win/draw more than we lose if we continue in that vein..
ipswich are not great, just to add perspective..
we look solid for long periods then just go missing, samey same o... needs sorting out..
vaughan is lively and the midfield look better playing forward rather than sideways or backwards..
2 full backs could be the key to our season..
the weather was ok and i got away sharpish afterwards to get away on holiday.. weather on holiday was high 70s everyday from 7am till 7.30pm, food was excellent and the gite was superb.. south of france is great apart from the bleeding price of everything.. zut alors!!!! mon petit garcon...

now 2 years and a couple of months off retiring for good...im good at doing nowt or at least im going to practice hard to be when the time comes.. I dont live to work, i work so i can give it up early and lounge about....
