No, Kohli is a class above the rest

Players like Cook & Gambhir are the next gen of legends of the game.

Anyway Neon. Your team...

................

Don't think either of them will be remembered as legends, especially the latter the way his forms dropped off. Far from it.

Is this based on form or jyst who's best suited?

Any how Gayle at 7? When has he ever batted at 7? Probably be better to take the gloves of de Villiers and stick Dhoni in at 7.

I meant to say Kohli & Cook.

Whats your XI galloping?

Ghambir is hopeless. Viru saud his average has dropped hugely.

Overall team, regardless if conditions is impossible.

Test

Cook
Smith c
Amla
Kallis
Clarke
Chanderpaul
Prior wk
Steyn
Ajmal
Anderson

Dern,

Tough call. Probably a reflection of the average standard around the world at the moment.

Cook
Amla
Kohli
Kallis
Pietersen
de Villiers
Dhoni/Prior
Ashwin
Steyn
Anderson
Ajmal

Like I say tough.

I missed out a bowler. I will select Swann if spiner needed and Morkel if bowler.

............

If it was a Test team only I'd have to find room for Philander.

Its not a test team guys.. it's one combined team to play all 3 formats in 1 series.

prior or dhoni galloping?

Dern,

Prior.

Always go for the best keeper and he's the safest pair of hands in the game right now.

Kallis
De Villiers (c&wk)
Kohli/Pietersen
Morkel

Anderson
Ajmal

Decided to put Hafeez in there as he is a very good all round cricketer. As well as batting, he can bowl excellently and is a handy slip catcher (even though there is Cook,Gayle,Kallis aswell lol)

Gayle and Cook I feel would compliment eachother really well.

Lets pick a subcontinental test match team!

Cook
Gayle
Amla
Kallis
Kohli
Hafeez
Dhoni
Ashwin
Steyn
Anderson/Morkel
Ajmal.

I feel Ashwin is the second best spinner out there. He is > Swann definately. Apart from the slider, swann doesn't really have any variations compared to Ashwin and Ashwin is lethal in sub continental conditions

Actually for my subcontinental test match team i'd take Dhoni out for Sangakkara

So:

Cook (c)
Gayle
Amla
Sangakkara (wk)
Kallis
Kohli
Hafeez
Ashwin
Steyn
Anderson/Morkel
Ajmal.

Yeah but recently he has been really poor (UAE, Sri Lanka, and now in England)

I'd definately pick Ashwin on the sub continent
