I agree 100%. Now is not the time for fans to be criticising the club left right and centre... it's time we got behind it and support our manager and our players.
Three men, when asked in a press conference about the company that pay their generous wages, are highly complimentary. Funny that.

Rafa was paid higher wages but when things weren't right, he didn't lie that they were. Neither would any other manager. You just don't like it because it isn't want you want to hear, that is all.
TBF shortlight has a point BUT; i do think the 3 managers are genuine in this case.
Toor.
Conversely, Rafa was also given the sums to buy top drawer players like Masch, Alonso and Torres whereas his successors were expected to survive on a FSGs Championship size budget.
When FSG have sold up (which hopefully will be sooner rather than later) you'll realise just how deeply their conservative outlook has damaged the club's standing. If you want Champs League you have to pay for it. Simple as.
Rafa inherited a team in the Champions League, which meant more spending money, that's where we're trying to get to. Furthermore, the owners didn't buy players with their own money, they bought it with loans leveraged against the club and look how that turned out. It seems you'd be very happy with the owners risking the club just so you could get shiny near toys every transfer window. You don't care about the club.
Toor.
And it seems your very happy with owners too tight to stump up an extra million quid to buy a proven premier league and international goalscorer and greatly indermining their manager in the process. leaving us now in the embarrassing position of having only 2 recognised strikers. They are rank amateurs who habitually hide behind risable PR. If you're happy with their constant litany of excuses and scapegoating then good luck to ya.
I think the comments are kinda par for the course - could be any manager any club.

Yes I am very happy with the way the club is going. The club has no risk and after the worries I had with the previous owners about the club, I am very happy that they are running the club in a way which doesn't risk the future but in fact will be a great benefit.
The future looks very bright indeed with a bright up and coming manager and a host of young players coming through and bought in. All that's required is patience. I am very proud to be a part of this next chapter of the club's illustrious history, it's a very exciting one indeed.
owners with a long term plan will struggle to please fans with a short term attention span
we're headed in a very positive and sound direction

At the moment you are headed towards mid table at best the Championship at worse. At least BR has experience in the Championship
Phil the closet red
It seems shortlight would rather have a 'marquee' signing than a well run club.
Bola.
Yes, I'd love a marquee signing. Are you seriously saying you wouldn't?
Redconn.
'short-term attention span!!' - It's been two years, mate, and they're still, like bad politicians, blaming their predecessors.
You can look back at what I remarked a few months ago on your owner and manager. So far everything I've said regarding them cannot be denied.FSG have realised that they'd need to spend far more money to compete for champions league football than they'd get if they qualified for it.So plan B came into place, shrink the wage bill and first team playing squad and at every given opportunity get the manager the emphasise that they are building for the future.
FSG has managed to raise supporters hopes whilst at the same time diminishing your squad size, experience and certainly quality in the top third.
I must commend them on doing such a great job.Bring in a easy to manipulate manager, who is both media friendly and is great at giving soundbites out to the press at the drop of a hat.
No Shortlight i wouldn't, a marquee signing is, and always will be a silly way to buy players.
In my opinion it's a quick way to please all the 'plastic' fans.
I'd rather see my club have players that are happy to play for the club and aren't coming in for the mega wages.
Also you say we are run on a championship budget?
Allen £15
Borini £10m
Assaidi £3m
Sahin £4m
Yesil £1m
I make that £33m approx. plus i haven't included agent fees, signing on fees and the likes.
Now sales;
Kuyt £1m
Aquilani 500k
Bellamy free
Maxi Free
Carroll £2m
Adam £4m
That's only £7.5m in sales.
Nowhere near a championship budget so your silly statements aimed at FSG are quite simply the ramblings of a fool
Liverpool have never been known to spend so much on players. They buy ok players and turn them class.
Bola.
You're a total utter deluded mug who's making it up as he goes along.
Apart from Allen, all the signings are mid-table.
As for the figures you quote on sales: total bollox. Maxi was a free transfer - his fee was undisclosed and Aqua's fee was £7m.
Mug.
Sahin mid-table? Now who's deluded.
Maxi was a free, Newells president even said he was waiting for to sort out the contract with Liverpool.
We may of received a decent fee for Aquilani but we had to give him most of it for wages and other things
Sahin's a loan signing. He also actively wanted to sign for Arsenal.
Your point being?
He may have wanted to sign for Arsenal but FSG paid more but hey, don't let facts ruin your agenda
