Conceded 6 in the last two games, scoring 8. The roller coaster continues. Not sure what Hendry has done to date, but equally with such emphasis placed on attacking and scoring goals it is inevitable we will struggle at times defensively.

I worry a little regarding our defence as a couple of injuries, supspensions or loss of form may us see us very light in that department.

Still when did we last score 5 away at any level? Notts Forest?

Star. what have you been smoking ? but seeing as you have for some bizarre reason posted this on the Burnley board I will ask you a question. When was the last time Burnley and your lot both scored 5 goals on the same day.

Star only smokes the best.

I will hazard a guess at 1996 ish, without googling.

Just remembered we put 5 past our neighbours, which would have been after the Forest game.

Barnsley and Boro at home,,possible 4pts there or maybe two defeats then our next game would be away,,3 defests and Kean COULD be sacked..ha ha..remember the could.

Defensively we are poor at the moment but looks like we are well covered in attack, especially when Richards and Best come back.
The only positive about the defensive errors are that Kean has recognised this.
Looking at the class of teams in this League I don't see how we should fear any of them and hopefully we will start to play a bit better.
If we are scraping wins etc now then the future should be a little better, and Kean will get us back to where he said we would never be relegated from!

Have you noticed McDonalds loving 6 fingered man always comes on here when B*****y actually win. (Peterborough at home!) So thankfully wont here much from him.

Our confidence ought to be growing game by game- last two away games scored 8 - not many can do that.

Provided we sort the defence (I'll admit I was cursing the Oracle that is kean at 3-3) we will walk this league even with him at the helm.

Hopefully the lose three games in a row and you are out applies in the Premiership though clearly it didn't last season!

Phenomenally entertaining match. Not sure what to say about Kean really. He still can't organise a defence, and he blatantly has a side that is a lot better than his contemporaries. But we're top of the league and winning matches, and you can't argue with that. Feel like its getting to the point where personally I'm willing to call a ceasefire on giving him stick.

Moving forward, the defence and Murphy are the biggest issues we've got in my opinion. Murphy for me had his first good game of the season on Saturday and it resulted in us destroying the opposition offensively. Getting him on the ball and pulling the strings is absolutely vital. Cause when he isn't doing that, I think he can be a bit of a liability defensively.

As for the defence, basically Kean just can't do it. We need to pot Hendry and get the best, most experienced defensive coach money can buy. Can't think of any other way of fixing it considering the players we have should be more than capable and yet we're still conceeding as many goals in this league as we did in the one above.

Take some antibiotics for this affliction B&WH please. It will only spread if you don't!

I was going to not go on this season till the main man himself Keano got the boot. Last season was awful, the travelling to Ewood, spending about 60+ sheets, losing, bad vibes on the stands, all in all I thought it had become depressing, but I maybe willing to start going again if the team is winning, and playing fairly well.
I will support the team through thick and thin, but last season was awful, everything about it was shocking. I hope things can improve all round in the club and a good day out can be had again soon.

Ok I know it sounds extreme, but I've always been against ingrained prejudice regarding Rovers. Big Sam suffered from it horrendously with the fans here who refused to ever see past the long-ball thing.

Kean is a muppet of the highest proportions, but this season he is so far doing a reasonable job. If he's doing a reasonable job, then surely its better for Rovers if the fans support him? Much as it was better for Rovers last season for the fans to do everything they could to get him out.

Swimming back to the sinking ship are we ?

Kean must be laughing his kilt off.

YOU are the one on OUR board moron.

Actually its on both boards, but as the topic has nothing to do with Burnley, my point still stands. Oh and also the fact that you post on our board all the time anyway. Suppose we shouldn't blame you really. Supporting a club with perpetually poor support and no future prospects beyond one season in the top flight every 30 years must be pretty grim. Maybe desperately stalking your illustrious rivals is the only pleasure you lot have.

B.a.w.halves they have other pleasures awaiting them in the caves of Yorkshire but there usually related, not that it stops them from ravishing them anyway.
