Why are these wums laughing? Anyone give them magic mushroom?
Don't know what batmanu is on about really, last term we only conceded 1 more goal than arsenal!
And that's after otr worst start for 40 years. Read through all the comments not one reasoned argument why Liverpool cannot make strides to challenge this season.
"If you look at the history of the PL, the vast majority of teams who have won the title have finished at least 2nd the season before"
actually , I would say this
"If you look at the history of the PL, the vast majority of teams who have won the title have been called Manchester United."
Kind of gives one club a head start.
Maybe chequebook Kenny will buy another two world class midfielders in Lee Catermole and Darron Gibson. That should be enough to go straight to the top
This time last year the future of Liverpool football club was at stake.
It was all ready to be played out through the courts.
We had a manager change which divided the fans, and players that didn't want to be at the club.
All that has been put right.
Wonder if arsenal will get it right with their wantaway players, or spurs...
As for midfield, we have a lot of creativity and technically sound players in our midfield now. Along with the tenacity and steel.
Gibson plays for man u. He'll do a good job there, maybe.
uh-oh... whats this?

here's an excerpt.
"Liverpool went off the radar for a bit. They are now back on it,"
Dalglish has wasted 100m in rather disastrous fashion I'm afraid.
It really is a shame as adequate use of the funds could have seen Liverpool really come back into the mix.
Instead he brings in an average winger, Henderson who has not one outstanding feature in his game, and a striker who's too limited in his play on the deck for a combined total of 75m, crazy.
Suarez i feel was a decent signing and Adam was also decent value.
how can it be 100m if you add your comment about Suarez and Adam at the bottom?
I meant that overall he spent 100m badly.
how can he have if you say suarez and adam are good signings.
I think they are decent signings and that isn't even close to being enough to say dalglish has spent wisely since returning to Liverpool.
100m for that bunch is very poor.
but £30m for suarez and adam is good?
Possibly, if United were offered the pair for around that figure I'm not sure if i'd want the club to accept it.
I don't think I've asked any Liverpool fan yet so I'll ask now, what do you think the starting line-up will be next season assuming no injuries?
No injuries and with the players we have at the moment...
Reina
Johnson
Carragher
Agger
Aurelio
Gerrard
Lucas
Adam
Suarez
Carroll
Downing
sporting a bench of
Doni
Henderson
Aquilani
Kuyt
N'gog
Flanagan
Kelly
Have Liverpool sold Meireles?
"Have Liverpool sold Meireles?"
He was never that good Henderson has always been superior apparently
Rumour is mereiles is on the way out.
For me Meireles is the best midfielder at Liverpool (including new signings).
Selling him would be a strange decision IMO.
Has anyone figured out how to spell meireleis yet?
He has been effective, however he does shirk a tackle at times.
Left him out of the team I put up but there is also maxi that was effective at the end of last season.

We can't go from 6th to 1st - apparantly
