McCoist is clueless, as are the rest of those chuntering numpties in his "coaching staff".

Im sick to death of seeing the pictures from Murray Park of Coisty, Elmer Fud and Duranty having a laugh on the training field. Get to work. Get some tactics sorted. Work on set plays. Work on options for how to change games. Stop pisssing about.

We have a better team (player by player) than just about every team in Scottish football, but we are struggling to beat teams in the 3rd division. Its not good enough - and that falls on the shoulders of the management.

FFS Gretna won nearly ALL their games in the third.

"And on top of all the shoyte, Deek died in River City last night"

Thanks for that Zach. We are so far behind in Oz that Deek has just passed his O Levels. You have single handedly destroyed Oz TV for the next ten years. Next you'll be telling us that Kylie has left Neighbours, yeah like thats gonna happen.

Davie seriously calm down and take a look at yourself. This is an opinions board and people are allowed opinions. There were issues with Ally last season.

The team looks scared continually in every game until we score 3 or so. That's down to Ally. We can't even pass and again that's down to confidence caused by Ally.

Billy Davies would come I think. You can't again say he definitely wouldn't because you think so. It's merely your opinion, unless you are Billy Davies (which you are not) Are you some sort of God or something?

Tell me why Billy Davies would come (and your referenced elsewhere interview does not count)...

Why would someone who could walk into just about any job in Scotland, and the Championship and even possibly get a job in the EPL, why would he come to Rangers before Jan 2014?

And as for passing - that is down to players - there is not a single one who has never played the game before - they can pass. That they are not, consistently, is down to the players.

And issues with Ally last season? really? You want to moan about results last year in the most turbulent season in the club's history.

That we managed to win ANY games and still finish 2nd last season was MAINLY down to Ally actually keeping the club & fans together - not what he signed up for, but the hand he was dealt.

5 games in is what he is being judged on - and that is unfair on ANY manager.

He deserves the season - no promotion, then the issue is valid, until then he deserves ALL of our support.

Of course, you can choose not to - fine, stay silent at the ground, no booing - helps no one, and there were plenty last night blaming McCoist as we came out, rather than looking at people like Sandaza talking a good game in the days running up to the game & then doing absolutely nothing for an hour.

People like Shiels who looked like it was his first time seeing a ball.

Contrast that with people like McKay - who ran himself into the ground, was always eager to take someone on, and always available for a pass. People like Wallace, who even though he looked injured, barely gave up on a ball all night.

Now either Ally is not inspiring or training the team, or he is - that SOME are performing, is clearly down to the individual players.

IMO, step 1 would be banning any of them opening their mouths to any press, even Rangers TV.

Step 2 - Get folk like Kyle in a gym, FFS - he has got another stone & a half to go - THEN give him an attitude adjustment. Get Lee up front, with McKay & Shiels told to hit him with every pass or cross. Get the Canadian boy Fraser Aird in the midfield. I'd rather lose with young guys playing in crucial areas than do same with folk who cannot be bothered.

Step 3 - boot Alexander in the nuts the next time he punts a ball long, unless it is clearing an attack.

Simple stuff, easily done.

Tell me why Billy Davies would come
---------------
Maybe for the same reasons Dean Sheils mentioned in his interview last night -
- the challenge
- it's rangers
- money

I'll tell you why Davies would come apart from the fact he supports the club and other players have came to the club who I did expect.

I unlike yourself listened to a 2 hour radio interview with Billy Davies on talksport the other day where he spoke at length how he never moves for cash available or transfers, how he;s looking for a challenge and a project to take a team forward and make history. How he wants to work with the right person in charge of the club.

When I was listening to the show I could have sworn he was waiting for the Rangers job from how he was talking.

You talk of going to the Championship for what to try and gain promotion to the EPL (if lucky) to go straight back down or take Rangers (the club you support) back to the SPL and Europe? Rangers are still a draw and as I said yours is only an opinion.

Ally is not the right man for the job and when he gets sacked down the line (my opinion) I will expect an apology, so bookmark this page.

Davie likes to dismiss evidence that his highness doesn't agree with.

No castle, just comment that make no sense with nothing to back them up, followed by wee smileys....

And I will be delighted to comment again - Billy Davies will not manage Rangers - see, job done - bookmark THAT!

posted on 19/9/12

Nothing to back them up? Or as mentioned what players who have signed said. How is that interview not backing that up? Just because you don't agree with it? But your opinion with no evidence is more likely? You are being such an arrogant muppet mate seriously.

I will comment again if Billy Davies is asked and is refused. You haven't proven your point unless he's asked first have you? I have bookmarked this page already.

Any manager is never going to close the door on any job, especially one as big as Rangers - hence the interview.

But again, why would any manager of any note come to a team where he cannot change a single player, has very little recent personal involvement, and unless he was immediately successful, any semi decent manager would simply blot his record.

Especially if he gets as long as some people are giving Ally - sheesh, he'd be out within a couple of months.

posted on 19/9/12

It's your opinion DC we'll never know until he's asked. Why wouldn't he come if he couldn't change a single player? He only has to do better in the 3rd ie look confident and play some football and get progress in the cups?

It's not just this month DC. Ally's football has been dire since day 1 of last year.

We'll see what happens Curly. We all want what's best for Rangers. I think Ally will be gone by the end of the season if not Xmas. It's not something I would relish at all. But imo it would be for the best.

We will win promotion of that their is no question. Paul Le Guen would win promotion with the wage difference, but is that our goal for Rangers or is it to build a team who play good football and win - as they should - up the leagues and don't get papped out the cups to clubs with tiny wage bills.

We are still paying the most wages in Scotland bar Celtic and are playing in a league with part-timers.

We should at least look confident, but we don't. I can't see it improving either as Walters team's were dire to watch as well.
