I doubt we would see any articles about it regardless of the result.
Scribe, we all cared, that's why all the selectors were fired and CA started a restructuring of everything to do with Australian cricket. Since that point we haven't lost a test series and are poised to retake the No.1 spot if we can beat the Saffers at home. How have England done since the Ashes? Confident about beating Aus next year?
lets be honest. if u want to stay no.1 for long nd consistently u need the younger lot to push up deir game. not many teams hv strong young players. someone like kohli, or jamshed is wat is required. saffers aint staying there for long. kallis will be big hole left in the team

Australia just drew 1-1 away with SA last year, not miles behind, but certainly behind.
Scribe.....sounds like you are coming out with excuses already re; next ashes series...
As far as not caring down under, you couldn't be further from the truth......it breaks our hearts losing anythings to the pums, but cricket is right up there with the all important events.....test cricket that is.
