I would think so, tho with the sfa I wouldn't bet on it.

Problem would be that any decent frees would be taken before the window shuts

Well Ibrox hopefully by then we would be in the 2nd div, so its not as if we need the best of the best, i am sure there would be some decent pro's out there. Because we desperately need the sqaud beefed up!

Even when Rangers Transfer Embargo is up I still think you will struggle to attrack good players. Until you get back in the SPL and playing in Europe which is still a long way away

Jinky
We've attracted decent SPL standard players like Black, Shiels and Sandaza () in the 3rd. I'm sure we could do that in the second.

I agree Jinky, but im not thinking of the players from Down South or big names, just anybody will do

Even if it comes to next summer, surely Ally (if still there) can speak to the players who are out of contract offer them one and wait till the window shuts and they can sign? or is that shady

Basically, Rangers will be looking from January onwards at folk whose contracts expire in the summer.

There is nothing to say someone cannot be signed on a pre contract this season, with them being registered as a Rangers player, as a free agent, September 1st 2013.

Assuming of course they would wait through a whole transfer window for Rangers..... (BIG assumptions, I know).

I rest my case Black, Shiels and I won't mention the 3rd name, as the only thing he has done has give Coist more grey hairs, which didn't think could be possible

No joking aside talent in the SPL fading apart from the Glasgows Green and White, I will stand by what I say Rangers when the transfer Emabrgo is over I still think Coisty will get more knock backs as your not in europe and playing no dissrepect in a shlite league which is even worse than the SPL and thats saying something

There will always be players who will jump at the chance of playing for Rangers. But Tbh the players who I've been most impressed by are the youth players like McKay, Aird, McCloed and Hutton who have made the step up. Another season for them to gain confidence and they'll tear up div 1 and 2.

Need to give them a try, am sure Mrs Gio will love it when the gas starts. She is genuinely disgusted by me when i fart, as if i have took a dump in the kitchen!

Sometimes her words hurt!

can the lower divisions still loan players after the transfer window shuts? or has that been done away with?

as i understood it we could sign free agents from 1/9/2013

posted on 18/10/12

The problem Rangers have isn't signing players, it's registering them. We can't register new players until 1 Sep 2013 so by that logic we can sign who we want in July/August but can't register , therefore play them, til ! Sep. We'll still attract players of a certain quality, not good enough for Europe but then again we don't need players of that quality for a few years.

Ginge...I think I know these beans, they're called tremocos in Portugal, yellow things that are soaked in salt water for ages then eaten like peanuts etc with beer. I think they're lupin seeds in UK.
