Bob ...we may well have done if we had 11 men.....instead of 10 for 45 minutes........do we give our eye-teeth...no not really, the game has gone and we've moved on but you lot have not. Who did you beat today Bob?

Y'see? Pep's bothered, yet again, to tell us he's not bothered.

Vidal, it's your shower that want to keep it running not us......we are just enjoying our steady climb up the league and good performance's we are putting in and watching the quality we put out on the pitch.....I keep telling you...because you don't listen..

Were you also there when we eased our way past you, Strett? Have you chosen to "forget" that one too?

Worrying, Strett is an enginner, I think (saw you listed on Mostyn's Twitter account). He was probably responsible for building the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

See...Vidal......case proven ..it's you that can't let go....and stick your head in the sand on what happened today....you were battered by Peterborough

Whenever I go fishing up in the Mrs' motherland (north east of Oban), it's the pesky Salmon that always avoid my net. Isn't it ironic that you guys have a Sammon that always avoids the net that came from Scotland. Just an observation

Hoons,
You're using the wrong method. A wise old Scot told me that the secret is to pour a couple of drops of Bell's Whiskey into the river and the salmon will positively leap into your net. It has to be Bell's, not some cheap stuff bought from Bargain Booze.

To be fair, I think Sammon has actually scored one for Derby which I think took his tally to 2 in 7 years. If you include his school days and Scottish and Irish "football" I think he has an impressive 14 goals in 19 years

posted on 27/10/12

TEG you mean to say you don't think he's managed to score a goal a year???? That's some stat

TEG,
Well, as long as the Fish puts himself about without getting sent off and helps us to a win at your place, I'm prepared to give him time

Yeah, it is odd. You lot must be wishing you could play us every week as you can't get yourselves up for any other opposition.

Small man syndrome? It was nice to see the Butcher sent off today.

Bob, That's Direby's problem is that is someone creates a goal or a win against us then they have a whole season of forgiveness irrespective of what they do the rest of the season......are you all really that blinkered and deluded or just have nothing else to look forward to?

posted on 28/10/12

Pep, what are you talking about? We are doing OK, obviously not quite as well as you. What are we deluded about?

posted on 28/10/12

Vidal.......deluded......that NLN is a good manager and Fishy is a top striker and as for doing ok ....isn't that another word for mediocrity? Is that Direby's aim to be an ok championship club and settle for a similar pts tally as the last few seasons? A win against us papers over many cracks.....you were battered by Peterborough and not many comments about that are there?

posted on 28/10/12

OK, thanks for that Pep.

Clough has done a pretty good job at Derby, all things considered. That seems to be the view of most neutral observers and quite a few Forest fans (notice I typed "Forest", rather than the more hilarious: "Florist".)

It isn't Derby's ambition to be mid-table, of course. It is where we are at the moment, and saying we are doing OK is just a fact really. You were mid-table before yesterday's game. How quickly things can change, eh!

And yes, we were beaten by Peterborough yesterday, which we would have preferred hadn't happened. As you imply, beating you does provide some solace for that.

Hope that clears it up for you. Well done on your win yesterday.

Totally agree with that last comment pep.
Think everyone knows my opinion on Sammon
It made me laugh on Wednesday I got slated for saying Sammon is awful with comments that I was wrong because he made 2 assists against Ipswich (beat 3 nil by the Owls!)
He rolled the ball across the box for 1 (hardly worth bigging up about) the first goal by Theo was no way an assist! He hit a not very clean strike straight at the goalie who parried it straight to Theo. no assist but a goalkeeping error.
1 in 12 now.
1 in 13 on Saturday unless Clough spares him of that embarrassment and picks Tyson or Ward or both

PICKS TYSON????????????
Don't u realise Nathan is a substitute?
he comes on for the final 20 minutes dummy!

oh I can't stop laughing it's sooooooooooo goooooood

YOU TOOK THE MICK CUS WE BEAT EM' ONE NILL

Three Nil Three nil three nil

oh I know NLN felt sorry for Fergusson.....afterall every team that Derby manage to beat away sacks their manager!!!!!!

You couldn't make this up oh sweet joy to see direly loose away!!!
ha ha ha ha
