I havent heard too much criticism of Brendan. Even though the results arent going our way.
I can see what he is doing and were only going to get better.
Nice to see you back jsa. Any fan with a footballing brain can see what brendanand the owners are trying to implement. I think its great! Theres a good bunch of users from old 606 on here now.
Aye up JSA lad welcome back!!

Thanks!
I have been 100% behind Brendan since the day he was appointed LFC manager and it'll stay that way as long as he gives it everything and does the job to the best of his ability. His way of playing through his team is what I personally like and we need to be patient and get right behind the whole thing.
The thing im most excited about is our transfer policy. Brendan obviously knows talent when he sees it and with fsg willing to back him we could see some really exciting signings. Still can't believe kenny made such a pigs ear of the players brought in woth all the money he had. Imagine what brendan might have done with that sort of cash!

I think Liverpopol still have a good chance of getting as high as fifth.
But that is only so long as Suarez stays fit. If he gets a long term injury before the January window, you will probably just be also rans.
DLC
Your transfer policy left you very short on strikers. Not sure about that Boroni chap, either.

Yes we are short, but at least clubs now know we are no longer there to be made mugs of.
Borini will come good, still very young just needs a bit of time to adjust to pace etc of the league. Hes a natural finisher and i can see him getting 10-15 goals a season given time.
Rap, i come on here and make a cameo appearance every now and again! Im reading every day though!

Maybe. That is why I haven't written him off.
It is daft when fans write of young foreign players when they come to England to play, after just a hand full of games.

Too right. I think next year will be his year.
VC - whilst you may not believe it we have been on the end of some crazy decisions this year which has cost of many points. You may say, and I'd be inclined to agree, that it's due to Suarez' theatrics, going down easily etc. However this shouldn't be the reason as things should be judged on the incident alone. We've had penalties not given, reds not given, reds given and goals not given all in the nine games so far. it's crazy.
Seeing this it makes me a little pessimistic in finishing the season in forth. It has been a disaster of a year for officials so far and over the weekend I couldn't believe what i was seeing.
I watched the Arsenal game last night and WOW! The referee was absolutely pathetic! For both teams. Off the top of my head I remember foul leading up to a Swansea goal, Swansea player deliberate handball in the centre circle as he reached up and handled it, no card. Swansea player diving in the box handling it out. No penalty, no red card(was last defender and attacking was through). Koscielny on a booking blatantly pulls down a player as he is about to run into the area, no card. Swansea defender handles a Walcott shot on the line, the ball goes in anyhow, no goal, no penalty, no red card. Referee plays nearly 6 minutes of injury time when four was signalled and Arsenal grab the equaliser due to it. Referee plays over four minutes of injury time, in extra time.
I just can't get any sort of enthusiasm for the game this season with this kind of officiating and it's nearly every game. it's my opinion that the game in England is in a crisis situation due to officials and the FA's reluctance to help them.(not to mention players like Suarez, Young and Welbeck making it difficult for them).
TOOR
I don't think the media help either.
As far as I am concerned, the premier league is at fault a bit with regarding referees. They should make the refs accountable for contentious decisions.
Until they do, there will never be any respect.
Completely agree. Truth is it does put people off the game. There has to be some sort of semblance of fairness the decisions. Doesn't do the PL any favours with would-be new fans especially.
I think referees are getting most of the criticism but for me it's the FA. It's the FA who don't punish them, it's the FA who don't protect.
