Oh yeh sure I am a plastic, I have been watching Spurs for 57 years now, so I think I can say I have done my bit, and if I fancy not watching them tomorrow, I think I have earnt that right.

I'm sorry, I don't buy that as a true supporter of a team you would ever contemplate not watching a game like the NLD, regardless of current form. How long you have been watching them shouldn't be a factor

Yeah Sandy ..all those years spent watching Spurs at their best and at their worst dont count ...DoubleDoubleDouble has got a point, and the fact you have spent your life supporting Spurs is of no consequence ...and pestering the old boys when you were a lad to tell you all about the '21 team of the club you loved isnt a factor - you are as plastic as a nail

I'm just asking why a supposed die hard spurs fan would not watch a NLD. As a proper fan you dont really get to pick and choose when you support your team you just do it. Are you watching the game?

Sandy - I agree with your sentiments our mental resolve at Spurs is like an egg shell and a few articles ago I mentioned that top class sport is played in the mind and our players are mentally weak.

When you see giant killers in the FA Cup they win through sheer guts & determination which is sadly lacking at WHL.

Self motivation comes from within and you can have the best sports psychologists in the world but it is down to the players !!
