I saw him single handedly double Lukaku's price tag, as well as make Ben Haim look like a world class defender

This is not about which team has the better individuals. We hear all season every season how Spurs have better players than us and a power shift is imminent, but the reality is they are bottlers and will capitulate whenever a power shift looks like it could happen.
