Whenever Greening has played he hasn't looked bad, but hasn't looked great either. He's a solid midfielder, and he will do well to get some games under his belt. I've not doubt he can still play well at this level, hope it goes well for him at Barnsley, and hope he gets a perm move in Jan!

Bit dramatic considering we got him on a free so he was hardly a drain on resources!! Worst Forest signings ever - Silenzi, Padula, Eaden, Gary Holt, John Curtis, Rosario, Justin Fashanu.... there's a lot of names in there so dont think Derbyshire would be anywhere near the same page as some of those guys!!

May react well to being the big fish in the small pond and maybe a fans favourite. Typical player Hillcroft signs and will get the best out of before leaving us for a better offer but maybe due to the players age he may stick around. Another good signing in my opinion.

Decent loan signing for us, hopefully might sign for us after the deal expires but I cant see us paying him a massive wage so that could be a stumbling block.

Greening comes across as a great bloke on Twitter, and it's a shame it's not worked out for him here yet.
