If you look at the players who have switched in the past 5 years namely Barneveld, King, Klaasen, Van Gerwen, Stompe, Eccles, Whitlock, Anderson, Webster, Thornton, Henderson, Woods, Chisnall and Griffiths only Eccles and Woods haven't performed at their best

PDC. It has the best players, the most money and the more followers.
If you look BDO is almost like division 2. A lot of top BDO players try to switch up to PDC and fail miserably.
