It says you allocate between 1,500 and 4,000 for away fans. Our website is still selling. I imagine you've given us about 3,000.

Should be close to that going considering the distance.

When I think of Huddersfield I think of Booth, Dalton and Marcus Stewart.. I'm not even sure if the latter played for you....!?!

Dalton I seem to remember was a lanky winger...?

Marcus Stewart is a Town legend!

"Our Danny" couldn't nail a nail to a plank of wood, with a nail gun filled with 5000 nails, from two yards.

The 30 second goal that you mention at Burnden Park was the first game in charge for Bruce Rioch.. I can honestly say that it was the start of something very very special.. I think Andy Walker scored that goal...

Quick question: Do you chaps have a long standing name that you use to refer to your stadium... It's had a few names over the years I think & I'm expecting our ground to change its name soon... Everyone knows the 'Reebok'... Has it affected your feelings for your ground...? Like us you've moved from an old church to a great purpose built stad...

Cracking article, great idea to create days before... I'll be bouncing between this and our regular thread which is usually a great production.... Bad result for us and its usually 300+ comments depending on booze, cruises and last orders...

Salut

I recall going to Burnden Park, away end behind the goals...and a patch of rough land behind there to park on (pre supermarket?).

We lost, as usual, but that flipping car park...it was massive..but just two small exits to get out, we were there 'til the Tuesday trying to get out...

or was that Preston ??

Jacko... Must have been Preston..

Burnden Park's away end was a chrome building with waiter service, and a shuttle bus to your car... It had a choice of buffet and gardens to the rear...

Halifax Town game frozen off. They now have 5 games in hand on the team in front of them. In December! Ridiculous.

Glad to see the article taken to by the Wanderers. The last two of these threads have had 450+ comments so evidently we only sing when we're losing....

It was Andy Walker who scored it, I remember now. I can also remember sniggering all the way back to the car that Bolton had a player called Mark Came......

"Mcginley used to be a good un "

John McGinlay and Andy Walker would never need to pay for a drink in Bolton..!

We also used to get lucky with quite a few Bolton cast offs, Jones, Big Sam, Burke, McNab being the exception, terrible for us.

Great article and 5 copied Stadiums from me

Who knows what the team will resemble this weekend. The Midfield last weekend was attrocious, so what options has Larry got??

Robinson
Norwood in, but out of form
Atkinson looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights
Arfield, really after last week?

Lad in the development squad called Scott Kay could be worth a shout as any of the above

delroy facey has played for at least a dozen clubs i think he now plays for hereford utd

Aye up how's we doing, we's doing fine.

Bolton Wanderers, temporary home of Ohhhhh Benik Afobe. Who will never live up to the standards of Mixu Patelienen(sp?) no matter how his career pans out.

Will Peter Kay be attending this weekend or will be on tour trying to raise enough cash to add on to his mams bungalow?

Amir Khan, the finest Boxer to come out of Bolton since.....err.....hmmmm.....errr....lord only knows. Will he be coming this weekend or is his Bolton shirt just for show?

Reebok Stadium, pretty much a copy cat of our ground with the lesson learnt that they should fill the corners in. Although the Hotel is a good idea, means you can go have a kip if the match is boring.

What am I on about, god knows just rambling really!

Is Garlic Bread still the future in Bolton?

Comedy is alive and well in Huddersfield by the look of it
