Ive got a reason to be cheerful

Good article Bluetoonger.
I remember there was a period during the summer months that many of us didnt actually know if Rangers would be playing football at all this year. I can recall talk in the papers about us going on a global tour or some mince for a year.
So just to be able to watch the team right now is a good thing!
The development of our own players is the number one priority for me right now.
Every one of the young players who have broken into the first team this year have played well and shown they are more than capable of playing infront of 45,000 fans.

I really hope that there is a concerted effort to progress with the young players or we at least target Scottish players like Templeton when we can sign players again.
I really hope we don't supplement our squad with sub standard foreign players when we can sign free agents next September.
They had no money for kit

Just think that statement sums up the tragedy that is Zombie FC - looking forward to signing free agents
Tragedy is losing a child, some sort of natural disaster or something of the sort. You can't really equate tragedy with football.
If you actually read the posts I never said I was looking forward to signing free agents, I actually hope we don't sign a lot of players and give the youth players there chance.
There was some talk of us trying to sign Murphy next year on a free transfer, I actually think that will be a good move.
As the OP says there are plenty of reasons to be cheerful no matter what has happened.
Love that song heard it a lot on Saturday.
