No thanks. I can't see my CB pairing swapping much this season without some very tempting offers now.
I did lose a fair bit more for Silva than what you offered as well lets not forget. I lost a top CB and a midfielder that is too good for cover.
What do you want for Strootman?
It's a good offer and whilst it it would help resolve injuries, it would ultimately be two downgrades to my starting XI for the sake of an improvement on the bench.
Would realistically need to be Boateng/Pepe instead of Jesus/Kluivert in order to consider going ahead on that type of deal.
Yeah I did give it some consideration but as most teams are pretty set up front I'd have been unlikely to strike a domestic deal for an established CB and his release value isn't high enough to bring in anyone of note.
