I don't really like the competition in it's new format, always used to love the Uefa Cup when Leeds were in it at the start of the Millenium, when it was a straight knockout. Even when Liverpool won it against Alaves it was always entertaining.
Now the groups are boring, and then when you reach the knockout you've got 8 Champions League clubs coming into it (i know that's always been the case). Only good thing about it was watching Bilbao last season, played some great football.
Hello you happy lot..............I'm chuffed to bits that Citehh won, i love to see overpaid prima donnas get a lesson in honest down to earth hard work, Not only that but i'm sure it's made my wee sister and her family very happy
Well Done the Bantams !!!!
Yup me too,, I wanted to Bratfud to win, I thought they played good footy too,,,,,,,,, I always want the underdogs to win whoever they are.
Won't go over old ground, me & champers don't agree. NEVER will.
I reckon you and champers are a couple of "in-commers"
I reckon your old man should have deposited you into a Kleenex, Mirf
Mirf.... In the past you have also said you would cheer for L**ds if they were in Europe! i wouldn't expect anything else from you. I'm Town through & through.... No other team comes close..... And for the last time... NEVER L**ds, NEVER Sadford.
You may as well bang your head against a brick wall Wethers lad
I think we're playing so badly at present that a few have become disillusioned and slipped into some trance whereby they'll look for success anywhere, all under the guise that it's ok because it's Yorkshire success.
Lock your doors mate, close the curtains, because it's spreading fast
All together now, follow the bouncing ball…
O dear, what can the Wetherby…
Wow!
Is anyone watching the Chelsea game?
Fecking hell!
Friggin hazard boots the ballboy............ sent off...........that must be a first, he should be handed over to the Swansea fans
Defo Highland, he kicked him int ribs!
Hope so Hydy , he deserves all he gets
People will use this to jump on the ever-popular "lets hate Chelsea" bandwagon but that was just brilliant. Some cocky little fat knacker just took a swift one in the ribs for arsssing about with the ball. Takes me back to my schooldays
Highland <tipofthecap>
Champers
I hate chelsea already so no difference there then
but that was totally out of order, ok the wee lad was taking his time, but no player should do that .
Little runt was lying on the ball but Hazard got what he deserved.
I thought it was hilarious. Loved the kids reaction. The roll, followed by the gesture, then another roll. Gonna go far the lad, Even Ronaldo wasn't that advanced at that age
Have you two never heard of "Yorkshire Pride" - well of course not, particularly if you're in-comers, which you've never denied.
Btw. I started supporting Town many years ago when you two were just a figment in your parents imagination. And yes, I would cheer for ANY other Yorkshire club to succeed, providing it didn't affect Town, simply because I'm a Yorkie and proud of it, unlike you two in-comers, who would and never could understand what true Yorkies are like.
Whatever Mirf, you talk b_ollocks. I bet your one of them dimwits who cheers for Scotland, Republic of Ireland, Wales etc, YET any of that lot would never shout for England cos they hate us. needless to say I DON'T SHOUT for any of that lot either. English & a TOWN fan proud.
What's all this "incomer" bollox? I'm halifax born and bred, just like my dad and his dad and his dad.....
You're just a boring old man who lives in his own head. It irks me that I still find it my polite duty to respond to you, despite the fact that you get right on my f-cking nerves.
But not a f-cking true Yorkie, eh Wethers. - and what's Ireland, Scotland and Wales got to do with the price of bread - Lancashire R'sole.
It's very relevant smirf, all this cheering for other Yorkshire clubs b_ollocks, Weeds & Sadford apartment, yes I probably would want them to win. Don't sell your sole to the devil by clapping for the wonderful Sadford. I stand by my international example too. Lancashire, no pal, Yorkshire & proud, just not Yorkshire teams that aren't mine. You wearing your tin hat Champers?
"Yorkshire and proud" - but yet you hate your closest neighbours Leeds and Bradford - stinks of out right jealousy to me.
