To be honest having the EPP running at the same time as the tour is abit cheeky imo.

However banning player is just petty.

BCCI dont know how to take a defeat on the chin. England innovated by getting more young players to develop in sub cont conditions to assist the national side and now BCCI cant accept that and banned them

No doubt they will instruct Sri Lanka and Bangladesh to do the same.

That’s very childish of the BCCI but doesn’t come as a surprise. Anyone see the story about the vote at a recent ICC meeting, where the ECB were the only board to stand up against the BCCI on the use of DRS. Maybe that’s another factor that has prompted this reaction.
The BCCI seems obsessed with power and bullying-antics, whereas in essence they ought to be concentrating on improving their declining test team.

Indeed, they dont seem to be able to have any humility.. I think the power of the IPL thats made them rich has gone to their heads.. How about the built new faciities with the money they have and have some kind of academy to improve on test cricket.. Have the likes of Tendulkar coach the players sometimes. when hes "not" busy.

This decision just doesn't make any sense at all.
Cricket should be encouraged all around the world and by having English, Sth.African Australian bowlers playing in India can help the locals adapt to the style of bowling they may face in a year or two down the road....madness

this is pure arrogance. If only Australian, SAn and English board could stand together and try to answer BCCI, bcci wouldnt be bossing around with needless rules like these.

Bcci expects every board to accept their players play the ipl, but doesnt allow a single indian player(even though they dont play in indian team) to play in any foreign t20 leageus.

Frankly speaking i dont like bcci, as they are the reoson why indian team isnt performing well, and with their stupid ideology they are just making a mockery of themselves.
