I thought we did enough to win the game, the full backs and wingers will always look bad offensively when Suarez is the lone striker. Gerrard's penalty was actually a good penalty, it's just the keeper guessed the right way.

why dont you just add some debate to the op instead of being a wumtard.....

the reaction was overboard to the defeat ..

we played some good stuff and foster had a blinder.....

Don't you think we looked a bit lazy at times? For me it was the most frustrating game i've seen us play under Rodgers. And I'm a big fan of our boss. Really big fan of him but that game was awful for us.

javier ..it was an awful result ...but it was the finishing (again) that let us down........

and i remember someone saying on the match thread "i bet west brom sting us late on for the victory"....

Bat. The West Brom game has been done to death surely? What's the point in asking the same questions and making the same points that were made for several days after the defeat, especially when there was such a positive reaction in our next league game?

bat, that's exactly how it looked. TOOR we created loads of chances and that was through playing awful so imagine if we'd played well and been clinical. Maybe I had a bad head on me that day and i'm sorry I am posting this so long after but the thought simply just came to me now and wanted to ask the question.

I'm excited about Thursday though.

Term if someone is compelled to take time to write an article, it is probably because they have not felt its been "done to death".

Im seeing a pattern here, If you have nothing to add thats constructive, dont say anything

I don't think we played awful at all, we had them pinned in their own half with no shots for 80 minutes. We just couldn't score but that's nothing new when Suarez is playing the lone striker role, it happened many times last season and many this season.

Maybe it's just me, but I prefer to not dwell on the bad games for too long, especially when we bounce back so well. I was expecting many of these 'blips' to happen this season, so maybe that's why I prefer not too make such a big deal out of them. And maybe why I don't have knee jerk reactions every time we're not perfect. Unlike one or two...

I personally think we did enough to win the game. We certainly weren't at our best that day, but we still created a lot of chances including a penalty and did enough to win

The fact that we didn't win is representative of why we are quite a way off the champions league places, Spurs/Arsenal probably would have sneaked a 1-0 win there.

Those games you win where perhaps there wasn't much between the teams are the most important when it comes to league positions. Unfortunately we simply do not get enough of these, whether it is down to missed chances, bad luck, winning mentality or whatever.

God knows how that happened! Typed something else and that came up!

Bat. It's nothing personal I get frustrated when we play very well and some can only focus on the negatives. For example, some people went mad after the Arsenal game, saying we imploded. But the way I saw it, Arsenal were very dangerous going forward and could of scored more. Pepe had a great game, yet got wrongly slaughtered for one of the goals. I see it as being fickle....

fair enough term!!!!

I thought Reina was terrible to be fair and I don't think it's fickle considering for the most part of two years he's been well below par. Although I do agree with the rest.

I'm not a fan of those people either. You'll find i've been as positive as most on 606 towards Liverpool, especially the gaffer.

For those of you boys and girls who still use this site there is a very good chance that we will win many of these games this season. We are proving already in Rodgers second season that we can achieve our objectives and grind out these 1-0 wins when we havent played a great game.
