Why is it that if someone differs from your opinion you seem to have a go at them?

I remember us debating Ade and you ended it with it's only because he's an ex-Arsenal player at which point i stopped debating, simply because that was no where near the truth and i could see there was no point talking to you as you seemed agitated. It is ok for others to have opinions without there being an Agenda. I'm sick of people resulting to direct or in-direct insults.

Just toaddto my point above, light hearted banter is fine, just don't result to insults!

Chicken - Well this season so far has gone way over my expectations. At first I was wondering why the hell we got AVB just like everyone else (even though deep down I really wanted it to work for him), after the first few games I feared the worse and another Ramos situation however the bloke has turned it around.


New manager, loss of players, big negative impact after getting 4th but not Champs league = 6th/7th was my expectation in a transitional season. That would/will be hard to swallow if that happens.

What I will say is how AVB has turned it around, the passion is there to see from him and he has all the players playing for him.

He is building something special at the club and I for one want to give him time and hope the board back him after all the obstacles he has over come. He is clearly a class manager imo.

I totally agree with whay you say - but i think its far too early for us Spurs fans to get cocky about it - there are so many more points to win & lose.

We are in a better position than where i thought, but the job has not been done.

Lets hope we're both wrong on this one then eh?

I rarely insult anyone - only in retaliation. And i have never purposely insulted you in an Ade debate.

I know for a fact fans dislike him because of his Arsenal links (as i explained to you on the article), i have first hand witnessed fans over the Lane refuse to cheer a goal he has scored "because of his Arsenal links".

I'm sorry you took offence to that but i believe this to be true - which is why i said it.

Chicken allo mate I appreciate everyone has their views on different matters mate. Others hate Ade and I have a debate with them too as I find the heat on the guy quiet shocking. So it's only fair to ask if you think AVB is doing a good job from what you have seen so far? Fair enough it's too soon to call him a success But do you think AVB is going in the right direction?

I personally think he is doing a very good job as he has made our defence from being leaky to mean. He has instilled a winning mentality, where before we would crumble easily in the last few minutes we are now tightening up for the good. He also seems to be bringing out the best in players like Bale. So for me, I already find he has been an improvement on Harry.

It would be good to get your opinion on AVB (Chicken only on this one please, we all have our views and let's all be adults here respect each other, we have a bad enough time arguing with other team fans)

Forgot to say anything below 6th or 7th and I would have serious concerns it was a mistake getting AVB.

As i said, my opinion wasn't a dig at you, but something i have heard direct from fan's mouths - following an Ade goal - at home.

I thought it was disgraceful but i suppose thats another debate entirely.

Fair enough fella, just for the record, i don't rate Ade, due to his performances, he is a Spurs player so i will never boo him as i have said numerous times

AVB is doing a smashing job, i know we haven't looked at our best in most games but i would give that up for the results we seem to be getting at the moment. Playing ok but winning games is a good thing
