robin, both have been as dire as each other. The worrying thing is in the past our spinners have controlled games, now we've found to good opening seamers are spinners are going AWOL.

Kash - I do feel it was a bit unfair today for him. Hafeez dropped Amla off him and he had to edges which would have gone straight to first slip. + overthrows. Not good when it all adds up.

I wanted Wahab to get a few games too as there is no point in having him in the squad, if you are not going to play him, but there is no way you can judge him on one game.

He is rusty, he needs games under his belt, if he wants to perfom. I haven't seen the bowling, but I presume he bowled rubbish? He bowled like a bowler who has not played in a long time, not a bowler who has no talent.

Completely agree with you guys. Wahab deserves a run of games. But knowing pakistan they'll drop him next game like they do with umar Akmal. Also hafeez better feckkkkin make amendments because he dropped a sitter which would have had Saffers 3 down for 60.

Didn't bowl rubbish Amir, he bowled 145k most of the time, just because of rustiness, he bowled too many wides and lost his length a bit and to make things worse he had Amla and De Villiers batting.

And, how about applauding AB and Amla?

In the previous game the first 10-12 overs Irfan and Junaid put RSA under deep pressure, took wickets etc... They did the same again, but this time Amla and AB counter attacked them and produced some great cricket. Credit to them both.

Misbah completely messed his tactics today. 18 overs of continuous seam when you only have 3 seamers Then 17 overs of continuous spin with the one seam over. Ajmal in to the atttack in the 25th over, when De Villers was had settled in by then Hafeez should have bowled earlier, that's what he's good at. No close in mid on and mid off despite the ball going there constantly for singles

Ahh, well I guess it'll be Pakistan who'll be the ones making the power point presentations after this game. All Dav Whatmore would want is a presentation on the best fast food shops in RSA.
