Have we...

The Sun have been saying we have signed him for weeks.

STV tweeted last night that they understand it is true.

And now Neil Alexanders tales of woe in the Daily Record seem to suggest we have signed him too.

Good move if true.

I like Neil Alexander. Decent keeper, willing to stay at the club (although I suspect he wasnt likely to get £10,000 a week anywhere else so why would he leave).

But seriously, we dont need to be paying that kind of money for a goal keeper at any level in Scottish football.

I'm sure Cammy Bell will be very well paid but I doubt it will be anywhere near £10,000 a week.

I'd be quite happy if Gallacher gets the final few games of this season in goal.

I think its been one of the worst kept secrets in scottish fitba

as for alexander, he's burned his bridges with me by going to celtics commercial parter the daily rhebel to vent his spleen

im sick of this "he stayed for the fight"

he was 34 and not likely to get a deal or money he was on at Rangers anywhere else, same applies to mcculloch

call it harsh i dont care, alexander has spent so much time picking skelves out his a-rse he has lost the sharpness required to play at Rangers, he was flinging them in the goal last season v Falkirk and has been a bombscare this season flapping at every cross but insisting on giving pelters to certain players in the team

i would have said cheers neil had he left but that article this morning banging on about money etc and who he granted interview with

na sorry neil, piiss off

What I don't get about Alexander is that he seems content to be a number two. If I could play football I'd want to be first choice all the time and not a bench warmer.

Left a bit of a bad taste that article tbh and I never really rated the guy...started his rangers career well enough but stagnated playin second fiddle to greegs

Bit sad it's came to this

At least he never left us in the lurch like his predecessor. Alexander will go off with my wishes.

bluenose

had alexander been 25/26 and had a chance to make more money in the epl o championship, he would have been off like a shot aswel, i think mcculloch is he same tbh

like i said myself, i would have wished him well, but to go to the daily rhecord and whinge about money etc, na sorry, he can GTF now

Just a shame we left him that destitute he's had to flog his million pound home.....and his car....

FFS should we give the guy a donation oot the fighting fund?

Bad craic to be spoutin off like this he'll have made plenty out of us

He will still go off with my best wishes. Good keeper for the majority of his spell here, Smith ruined him by bringing McGregor back in once he apologised to aw the wee tartan army fandans

As for coming out and putting the record straight, fair play to him. Its sealed his fate so at least Green now has reason to get rid.
