Punk match placement/Vince announcement

I like all three members of The Shield, think they all have good futures ahead of them.

Can seen Roman Reigns being the new age Batista type character and I don't have much of a problem with that at all.

But Ambrose is on a different level. Promo-wise, in-ring and his whole persona just oozes main event superstar. WWE could pull the trigger on him at any point and he will make waves at the top end of the card, he has it all.

Be interesting to see where WWE goes with The Shield and then what they do with all three once the group disbands.

Every match they've had so far has been great and I hope WWE has plans for them, at the very least, months in advance. Starting with a win at Wrestlemania, possibly with an experienced face becoming a part of the group.

Ambrose shouln't end the streak. Far too early in his WWE career, and wouldn't have any credibility in facing him at all. Also would it really be believable in that the likes of HBK, Triple H etc couldn't end the streak yet Ambrose can?

Punk is far more deserving.

Anyone can have credibility with the right kind of push. HBK and Triple H were at the end of their careers, perhaps it will take a younger, more athletic person to defeat the Undertaker.

THIS Punk is in no way deserving, he has had a dire 2013.

Do you think it will be Orton?

I know people have suggested it could be Cena to possibly tie in with a heel-turn against The Rock but Orton could turn on Sheamus and Show to align himself with The Shield instead.

I hope the storyline has plenty of legs and WWE carries it on with plenty of substance. The Shield could potentially be one of the best storylines in recent memory.

I've only seen Ambrose on the mic but to say i'm impressed would be an understatement. He just has 'it', voice bouncing everywhere, accent harsh but crisp, enunciation true and kind of wary sounding adding character depth, and can produce the odd articulate gem or two.

If given the popular chance he could make one badass fundamentalist heel, be it the manipulative or crazy variety.

Had WWE been abit more savvy this year, they could've very easily played off Ryback & Ambrose in this sort of Batman vs Joker dynamic. Ryback expressing an intention to personally rid WWE of The Shield, and Ambrose expressing an intention to play with Ryback basically because it's fun to poke 'superman'. It would've worked splendidly

Orton seems to be the most obvious if it's going to happen with his stale character and involvement in the match.

I reckon a Cena reveal could be absolutely devastating if pulled off correctly, up there with Hogan and the NWO.

After typing that, I do hope it's Cena.

Such a pity that the coolest ideas come from message boards and not creative who just seem to play it too safely these days.

You could even add Bane Maddox in to the mix (Joke! ).

I want it to be Cena, I think not only will it be a great Mania moment but it would also give the Cena character a whole new lease of life.

Cena as a heel could definitely be the fresh change that WWE needs and he has certainly hinted towards it during his recent promos.

Will give plenty of chances for WWE to push some new main event faces.

He has developed his image to be one of the biggest stars in the WWE in recent memory. Improved just about everything in his set although he was great before 2011.

Promo wise he has actually being very good in 2013, had two decent matches against the Rock as well.

What has Ambrose actually done for him to beat the record? Yes, he's talented but he hasn't done near enough to stop Taker's Wrestlemania streak. I actually don't think the record will ever be stopped.

Surely the WWE will have to bite the bullet on that turn eventually. He's probably got another 5 years in him at least, he can't stay face that whole time, can he?

Haven't you been reading? I'm talking about Wrestlemania for next year, Ambrose could do anything in that 12 months. It only took Punk one promo and a month or so build to get to the top, given 12 months and free reign on his promos and I'm sure Ambrose could build his credibility suitably.

WWE creative are usually very good at establishing the baseline, it's week 2 where everything falls apart. That honesty may have alot to do with WWE's loaded schedule, the writers must be as exhausted as the wrestlers.

Don't see it. Taker will face Cena next year and probably lose.

Also I doubt if Cena will turn heel. To do so, they would have to be able to lose huge amounts of profits they make off Cena's merchandise from parents buying them for their kids. That's why I don't see it ever happening.

That's a subjective business decision, in that instance it's the safe coperate move. They could equally allow him to grow along with his audience by turning heel - similar to Harry Potter which grew in maturity along the timeline.

I've always thought it would be Kane if they turn him back into a monster and bring up the whole house fire storyline again
