WBA 1-2 Arsenal

Foster
Jones McAuley Olsson Popov
Brunt Yacob
Thomas Morrison Dorrans
Lukaku

Tough game. Hopefully Clarkey can get them up for it as we have look like we're already on the beach the past 2 games.

Lets hope Cazorla manages to stay on his feet this time

We have had some not too happy performances v WBA recently, home and away.
Mulumbu missing is a bit of a bonus, him and Yacob form a very good midfield.

Arsenal shouldn't be many changes...

-----------------Fabs------------
Sags---Big Per--Kossy--Nacho
-----------Ramsey--Arts----------
Theo/Santi----Santi/Rosicky---Gervinho
----------------Giroud------------------------

Theo is 50/50 to start. Maybe Podolski in for Gervais, but I don't see Wenger changing this after last week.

I am hoping for a sub-par WBA showing and a 3-0 win for the away side. Fear Lukaku though. He could destroy Big Per Mertesacker and Koscielny.

Can't see you winning without Mulumbu

Will be a tough game, not overly keen about facing Lukaku but think we can sneak it. 2-1 Arsenal

Seems Walcott is definitely out.
Rosicky should keep his place for us then. Same team as against Reading.

We have had some cracking games recently.

Arsenal 2-3 WBA 2011
WBA 2-2 Arsenal 2011
WBA 2-3 Arsenal 2012

It's always a good 'football' match against arsenal.

West Ham have done a massive favour to Arsenal taking Mulumbu off from this game..

Mulumbu will be a massive miss.

His partnership with Yacob is so underrated in this league.

Mulumbu out, we're well and truly fecked.
1-4 to the Arsenal

Mulumbu is probably our best player and its deffo a much tougher challenge without him.

But we are not a one man team.

I think we'll give Arsenal some problems of their own.

@chrislepkowski
Clarke confident everyone will be fit for #wba game bar long-term absentees (Gera,Thorne) and Mulumbu.

not a one man team but we don't have another defensive minded midfielder to replace him.

Naturally I'd take a draw right now because I think Arsenal will have too much for us. Youssouf Mulumbu did us no favours with his rush of blood at West Ham. I hope he and Peter Odemwingie enjoy watching from the touchline, and reflect what the word 'professional' actually means.

It is really frustrating that Mulumbu is out but we have been playing well at home lately. I'll go for 2-2. Thank God we don't have that idiot in goal we had last year.

We are the 3rd best home team in the league I believe.

That's immense

I hope Albion fans are ready to extend a warm welcome to Santi Cazorla in his first game at the Hawthorns.

You know its bad if Martin Keown says it was the dive of the season.

Liam Ridgewell v Sunderland was the dive of the season...

posted on 4/4/13

It's up there. There was pathetically minimal contact when Ridgy went down.

However...

There was none at all when Santi went down.

Could and should have done better, a draw at least - chances went begging. Proof that forwards can lose points. Oh well, the expected result really.
