"Best chance you got is on the oval wicket, alot more suited to it...."

Disagree with this. Sometimes Edgbaston is pretty flat, whereas the Oval is the bounciest wicket in England since the morons at Lancashire turned the OT pitch around. Tremlett vs some of the Indian batsmen on that bouncy wicket will be carnage.

And I don't get the hate for Bopara. He's clearly a talented bat, equally he's clearly not a no.3. Don't know why we ever went there. Bell will definitely bat at 3 if Trott is injured, Bopara 5 and keep Morgan at 6.

The idea that Tremlett can bowl better short bowling than Bresnan to threaten the batsman obviously hasn't seen Bresnan bowl.

I'm not having a go at Bresnan, I want him to play at Edgbaston.

But you would select him ahead of Tremlett at the Oval? As a batsman you would rather face Bresnan than Tremlett on a fast and bouncey wicket?

Ok

I think Bresnan has many of the qualities of Flintoff. I remember him in the two tests in Bangladesh in 40 degrees, bowling full out whilst Broad and Finn were wilting in the sultry atmosphere.

Taylor top scored for the Lions today with 76..

Bopara got 19.

I hope Taylor is picked over Bopara if Trotts out...

i don't understand what you india fans have against praveen kumar. in swinging conditions he is very good, and he has looked, imo, possibly the best of the 3 india pacemen.
