At last a Forest fan with a bit of perspective.
They all have a different spin on it Dutch.
They are all wandering around Nottingham chasing fluffy bunnies and wearing flowers in their hair as they jump aboard Billy's love bus, next stop premiership.
They are blind what you can see.
They probably won't like your post because you're blowing their high, man.
Watford have won 1 in 5.
Palace Haven't won in 5
Brighton have won 1 in 7
Leicester have won 1 in 13
Bolton are matching our streak.
Is it really that impossible?
A bit harsh on the Forest fraternity there, but you can understand why we were on a high after fast becoming a joke club. Billy IS the man for the job but I did always question his tactics when the pressure was on him.
He has whipped a good team in to great shape but his tactical adaptability is questionable at times. I won't harp on about the last two play offs where he - IMO - fluffed it under pressure, but I do hope he has learnt so valuable self lessons during his time in the wilderness.
We're heading in the right direction but there more twists and turns yet.
Not a massive fan of commenting on other fans boards as I just wanna talk Forest but I do enjoy some the Derby fans input and banter. No Tom without Jerry right?
I think you have to wait and see what happens in the next 2 away games. I think it's a bit too early to say we have peaked. A lot will come down to if one of our strikers can step up and do the job they are paid to do.
My take on Billy having watched the interview and, per my other posts, having had a chat with him last weekend is that he has learnt a lot and had good time to reflect on past experiences. Just note that he is not going overboard in interviews but just giving very balanced summaries and saying what we have all felt on occasion about some of the games.
I believe we will get in to the play offs and then we will see just how much Billy has learn't during his time out.
Rameses, as you love your states can you share what your posting ratio is on your own board vs. our board ?
Jeez...DutchForest, have you ever thought of a new career? I think a Party organiser might be your thing...
You naturally being such joy and enthusiasm...
" They are all wandering around Nottingham chasing fluffy bunnies and wearing flowers in their hair as they jump"
Let me rephrase:
Ram-arses thoughts:
I am wandering [sic] around Dirtby chasing fluffy lambs and wearing flowers in my hair as they jump in 'excitement'"
Just don't fall in love Ram,arses.
We may well not go up but we still have every chance and the form table supports this:

Blackpool were one of the most negative sides I have ever seen at the CG, no ambition whatsoever. One thing I do think though is that Sharp needs to have a run of starts as we need a striker to start scoring and he could be the one to do it.
Original Reds - I throw an awesome party! And I actually have a bottle of bubbly on stand by for promotion! But as much as I've enjoyed the last couple of months of being a Red, with a striker goal drought, no win in three, big games coming up my opinion is that we won't cut it. This season. Nobody expected us to be where we are now, in Januay, so overall I'll be happy to still be moving forward if we do fall short this season. I doubt I'm the only Forest fan who is now beginning to have a few play off doubts.
I kind of agree Dutch. I think we've got three tough away games. It appears that during the winning run there was no pressure because "we were never going to get in the play offs" but now we're there the pressure is on and you can see it and feel it. On the flip side we are a team that doesn't give up and is desperate to keep our unbeaten run intact and we deserve a hell of a lot of credit for that. I would like to see Sharp start these next two games as if we do make the play offs then we need a goal scorer and he's one of the best in the division.
t looks like Bolton will squeeze in to the top 6 so someone has to drop out.
Play-offs or not, just happy with where we are at present. At the end of January we looked fairly dire. Bonus if we make the top six at the end of the season. If not, a settled summer and a few additions would place us well for next season.
Strikers have been poor. Cox the exception, as his work rate has been credible. Shocking that they have failed to net consistently for so long. Our conversion rate yesterday was woeful.
On the plus side, we know how to convert penalties.......
Owd Rammy.... really can't wait for us to lose.
Ipswich
Missed pen
Sammon
Clough "We were the better team"
Nige.... YOU LOST!
Plus it would be nice to score in the first 15 mins for a change and also not go behind as we have done a lot recently!
I hear you.... but just effing enjoy the ride.
It's never dull being Forest!
Cor, there's always someone worse off, downstairs!
<--one for ram-arses
I don't think we will go up either; but we will make the play offs, and what a terrific achievement that will be.
We will have a spending spree in the summer then watch us go.
Cracks are showing as the loony optimism is being replaced by, just enjoy it, happy to be here rhetoric.
Rev and others think 3 jammy draws on the bounce is the kind of form you need win at Cardiff and Boro.
Another 9 mins of injury time yesterday but couldn't fluke the win unlike last week.
You were all expecting to beat Brighton and Blackpool at home. You all thought you could even get auto.
Now reality has bitten and only Dutch has the courage to speak up.
Chappo Sir
Dutch Courage if you will!
Thought you would pick up on that. Were you pi$$ed when you wrote the article?
Er no - but I wish I was now. Currently in one of these play zones with my children. Seems that other children have the capacity to scream louder and longer than mine. Proud of how well behave my tribe are and some of devil spawn running around this joint makes me wanna get all Kung fu on theirs parents ar$es!
Made any friends this week Remeses?
No, didn't think so. Another week on your own obsessing about Forest.
